I didn't really like the demo. The controls didn't feel tight and the action was too chaotic to get a handle on capturing the ghosts. Made me want to play Folklore for some catchin' action. ;-)

Excited to try this because I have been on the fence about the game. I really appreciate it when dev/publishers release demos so that I can make an informed purchase. But sadly, this one swayed me to NOT buy the game. The Ghostbusters vibe I love so much from the movies is there, but the gameplay felt decidedly average.

I tried the demo on both 360 and PS3, and Wii version is clearly the best.

Its still a good movie game for once.

Maybe Major knew that he would get some flak for posting a US-only demo and that's why his avatar is hiding!

The delayed release in Europe is annoying, but there are places where you can buy the region-free version.

Both have English as language options according to the website.

It just seems to be another example of companies clinging to 19th century business models where they try and pretend that the world can still be split up into different 'regions' where different rules apply. It just isn't the case anymore and artificial attempts to create differences through such means as region-coding just encourages people to find ways to circumvent them.

It's one of the reasons why people from the UK come here instead of taking any notice of Aceybongos. It's because he is utterly irrelevant compared to Major Nelson. Their Inside XBox is beyond pathetic because they just don't get the access that Major does. I watched an episode recently where they basically answered three reader questions in a row with a "don't know" answer. There's 10 minutes of my life wasted watching that drivel! It would make much more sense all-round if the European Inside XBox was completely disbanded and we just got Major's stuff instead - we get (broadly) the same games (usually) at the same time, so why not just have one team providing video to all English-speaking terratories? Why do we have to come out of the Xbox and fire up a web-browser to see Major's Minute? But that would break down the illusion of the different 'regions' which Microsoft is desperately trying to maintain. Bizarre when you consider that Microsoft, possibly more than any other company, has been instrumental in creating the global village which we now live in.

This game was not as great as I had hoped. An 80 score would be just about right. The voice-overs are the highlight for me.
