So obviously you got as far as downloading the app, looked at the readme then turned tail and ran.

Dude, coming from an experienced PSP homebrew user. THIS WILL NOT BRICK YOUR PSP. The PSP was meant to run at 333MHz. The reason sony underclocked it to 222 was to make it seem like the PSP had much better battery life than it actually does. You can reclock your CPU with another app to bring it down to 222 if you're that worried.

I'm sorry. What are you talking about? I just used this app to watch both the desperate housewives and the 24 season finale in H.264 ipod-ready mp4 format on my PSP and it worked fine.

Next time you decide to post something about software, try testing it out yourself instead of making assumptions. If you're not smart enough to run it thru irshell or another loader app, you shouldn't be making comments on PSP homebrew.

That's an app called PSPlayer. It'll allow you to play avis and mp4s that haven't been encoded to PSP format.

In other words, any ipod ready mp4s that you download from the net can be played on PSP. Including Major Nelson's E3 vids posted above.

I'm using this on a 1.5 PSP but odds are it'll work with Fanjita's eLoader so if you've got a 2.0+ PSP you may be in luck.

Nice choice selecting ipod-mp4 major. It's useful to be able to drag and drop files to my PSP without worrying about file space.

Here's a date (or non date) that could have been clarified (from 1up.com)

Rumors started circulating around the Internet recently Capcom had penciled in June 10th as the date for Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting's Xbox Live debut, but Capcom confirmed today the aforementioned date was likely based upon old scheduling.
The talk originated from a scan of the Official Xbox Magazine containing a calendared list of Xbox Live events happening next month. Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting was listed on June 10th, causing many to wonder if Capcom had finally nailed down a release date for their highly anticipated online fighter.

Turns out we'll have to wait a little longer, though. When pressed, Capcom representative Alicia Kim teased us and said to expect a release date announcement "sometime in the near future."
