i'd would expect that they would stay. It would be a pretty major flaw if they just went, and one that would garner MS a lot of flaming.

I hope in the next update they give more resolutions options when using the VGA cable as the xbox is much better at upscaling than a monitor is!! PLEASE suggest this to the team MAJOR NELSON

i have one question about the downloading. Lets say you choose 6 downloads 1st one is running what happens if you have to go away and power off the 360. do they continue when you sign back into live next time or are they gone. I have not hered anything on this in the boards i usually go to.

they should ad new status names like on the phone or lunchbreak,doing homework, ore those kind of things like windows live messenger, and xbox live online leaderboards and not only per game. and a Internet explorer browser that kind of stuff would be great!!!!!

Just remember guys,
There's supposed to be a lot more features than just those featured in pictures on Kotaku. That could be an early build of the new Dashboard, so there could be another blade, or even extra programs (IE360 & Outlook360, Chris @ http://www.majornelson.com/user/Profile.aspx?UserID=2101)

Im back! another thing i want to say is the best thing about MS that ive noticed is they try to get as many hardcore gamers in microsoft as they can (ie people that are passionate about gaming). there was never a community with the ps2 really imho! i wish them well (sony) but think they are complacent now!

Ive seen the video on gamevideos.com and have to say that im very pleased with the next update. MS have seemed to have thought of all the (relatively minor) flaws. Im not a fanboy really (had a ps2 before my 360)The 360 has made me exicited (sp?) about gaming again and i was underwhelmed by sony at E3. I cant be the only one who has gone this way so the market will be probably closer to 50/50 (ish) this time round imho!

Sounds great, I can't wait (Though I'll have to) for sure. Though I can think of two updates that I would like to see.
1. Like the PSP I would the like the game that is inserted to somehow be displayed on the Games blade so that I always know which one I have inserted.
2. I think that it would also be nice to be able to open the disc drive once a game has been inserted.

Any word on whether we'll be able to see the download speed? I'm having problems with REALLY slow downloads (2-3k/sec) and I'm calculating manually by percentages, time started and file size, which kinda sucks compared to how easy it would be to display the speed.
