Larry, i think your team needs to go around and have a chat with everybody working on any form of content to be put up on the XBLM, that regaurdless of the fact that they are working on content, or think they are almost done with it,... not to say anything themseleves until it has passed MS Certification and an upload date assigned.

This would most assuredly keep your new-found "cracked-out on content" gamers calm, save you and your team some headaches, and help the developers of said content from looking like blundering fools.

DLC has proven to be an amazing thing so far, and it's only 6 months in. If you can get your business partners to stop "over-promising and under-delivering" imagine where this could go in the next 4 years..

WoWzer, of the things you listed, only the Xbox 360 itself has been quality tested by Microsoft. And for the most part, it works just fine! There've been some complaints, but no one I know who owns one has had any problems with the hardware/included software. The problems have mostly been with third-party games, mostly ones from 2K games.

That said, I've played about 100 hours of Oblivion and encountered no glitches other than three freezes during loading. And supposedly there's a patch coming for that. Morrowind had the same issue, and unfortunately, there was no ability to patch the Xbox version, so gamers had to live with it.

lol... some of you people really need to chill out. All the articles talking about the update have said "soon". There was no official date. "Friday" was a speculation. But like most said, Friday isnt the best day to release an update. Relax people!

-lol right, just like everything else they have "quality tested". King Kong demo, COD2, MLB2k6,Oblivion, THE XBOX 360 itself.

I guess that those who got the email (I didn't) got over excited.
Everyone who loves the game (I do!) are really looking forward getting it and since everyone is also waiting for the dashboard update, it is understandable.
