Thanks Major for the update. I know you got a lot of grief last week on this. No matter what, know that there are us out there that appreciate what you do and keeping us informed.

The update has brought some great new features, but for me they've come at a cost. Freezing during games I can live with, but terrible lag in every online game I play is not something I'm happy with after shelling out for a gold account. Basically my gold account is no good right now since I can't play against any of my friends :(

Please hurry with an update or patch!

I've noticed that the dashboard stutters as well after having done "exit to dashboard". It's very noticeable, and during these 3-4 seconds, it's no idea that I try to do anything, since it stutters so much. The guide is buggy as well. It is quicker in some places, but overall I think it's become worse. I can easily hang my Xbox 360 just by making use of the guide at specific points.

I've tested a bit more now, and I'd like to add that besides very frequent audio skipping/jitter while downloading in the background, the audio do skip a bit even when not downloading, although just not as frequently.

For some people, it may go pass them unnoticed, but for people like me, it can become very noticeable, although it's as I said not as frequent when not downloading.

I think the Xbox team should take a look at this at least.

The update is pretty kool and all but I would still like to rewind and fast forward music... Whats up with that? Also in the marketplace I would like it to show a fraction of what you have downloaded again. Example: Uno 3/3 because I downloaded all the things you can get for Uno. It just helps alot.

downloads stop if your playin online in a game so the download doen't affect your performence

I think some games access xbox live server even when not playing multiplayer which is why the download get's paused. P.S so is it possible to have upscaling DVD over component.

I noticed that downloads stop when entering a game, is this supposed to happen? I thought it was stated in the update that you can play games while downloading, although it doesn't seem to be the case.

Im still having the same problems with the account recovery. I know that there are other people that are having the problem too. Called support several times, they have no clue what the deal is. It will download my account, but then when it tries to downlaod my gamer profile, thats when I get the message on the right balde about not being able to sign up for xbox live, please try again at a later time. getting a little frustrated.

hey just wanted to say that the update is realy cool, but i had random freezes, about three since the update came out, one last night while playing uno, it happened when it had to stop downloading when picked multiplayer and bam it frose. --I' am sure it has to be the coding, the question is will it ever be fixed, and how soon?????--

i only wish there was clan/group support built in. i'd love to have people create groups so i could see which groups people were from when i look on the list, and also have it so games auto-identify teams based upon their group/clan. it'd be super cool if each person could be into 4 different groups/clans with one being their primary one. keeping my fingers crossed for the fall release!

Hey shinesevens, you can't download tripple x on the console never mind quadruple X. Hey major, how about an update in the future allowing the downloading of.. more adult "themes and pictures".. oh and trailers (THAT CAN BE PAUSED!!!)

@ goblue52 The account recovery issue is a big problem for me too. I have been trying for two days to get it to download my profile with no luck. Just keep getting the "Xbox Live signup is currently unavailable. Please try again later." Message..... I will say that I liked the new features in the update for the short time I got to use it though...before my profile crapped out.....
