Xbox does well at the 1up.com awards
Tonight the 1up.com “Best of 2004” winners from Ziff Davis (publishers of EGM, etc) were announced at CES. These awards are voted on by the readers. Microsoft Game Studios walked away with four awards.
Shooter of the Year – Halo 2
RPG of the Year – Fable
Online/Multiplayer of the Year – Halo
Game of the Year – Halo 2.
It’s also important to note some big 3rd party titles that were Xbox exclusives that walked away with recognition: Ninja Gaiden, DoA Ultimate and Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow (released first on Xbox.)
Out of 12 awards, Microsoft Game Studios and Xbox exclusives can claim 7 awards
