German Xbox Community Party
Tonight I hosted an Xbox Community party reception here at the Leipzig Game Show. The event was held in the Xbox VIP tent (complete with beach sand) next to the convention hall for a few members of the local gaming community. During the party…we decided to extend the party a few thousand miles and nine time zones back to Seattle. How did we do that? With the Xbox Live Vision camera of course. Xbox Live Operations Manager ‘e’ (his gamertag) had a party at his house and we connected up via Xbox Live Video Chat and people from here in Germany took turns talking to the people back at e’s party in Seattle. It is the first ever transcontinental Xbox Live Video Chat party. Thanks to my new friends in Germany for coming out and being part of this historic moment!
