Considering how bad the 2K MLB games have been in the past few years, you’re not missing anything by not getting this in the UK. I’m still going to try it out this year in hopes things have changed.

Regardless of the games quality… the point is that there are NO 360 baseball games avaliable in the UK whatsoever… we don’t even get the arcade game “the Show” from 2K sports.

2K have also made no comment as to why they refuse to release it over here. Currently the only way to play baseball in the UK is if you have a PS3 and import it from across the pond as all PS3 games are region free.

Generally, not being a baseball fan AT ALL.. I don’t know why I find these baseball games so fun! Every Summer, I find myself glued to playing these baseball games. I’m not even remotely close to being a baseball fan at all.. it’s so weird!

Major, some of us Brits would actually like to have a play with this. Granted we can’t play Baseball but then Americans can’t play Football and you get Fifa 09.

I doubt this will be better than MLB 09 The Show, but I’ll try anyway. Also, people who are in Europe and want baseball games, you can just import it.

Downloaded the demo this morning and I was actually impressed. I’ve played MLB 2K6 – 2K8. Graphics look pretty good over last year. Haven’t gotten used to pitching yet, but glad 2K Sports was kind enough to release a demo before the March 3 release date. Getting this one for sure when it’s released.

Considering how awful all of their other 360 Baseball efforts have been, I’m actually really surprised at how good that demo was. I just went from having no intention of getting the game to probably picking it up.

I never bought 2k8 after playing the demo but I will be picking up 2k9 this year, I like the pitching method in it. Takes a bit to learn and get used to but another demo I will prob wear out until the game is released.

The Japanese version of 2k8 was region free. I imported it and it is the most buggy and annoying game I’ve played in ages.

MLB The Show on the PS3 is way better in graphics and playability. Why can’t Microsoft just make their own game like Sony does. Sony makes a bad*** game.

I’m a huge baseball fan, yet have never really paid much attention to the 2K games. Maybe I’ll check this one out.

I feel for my UK brothers on this one, being from the UK but lucky enough to live stateside I couldnt wait to download this demo.
2K8 was awful and the only thing that got me through the year was ‘The Bigs’, after playing this demo I gotta say that this is looking very very promising and I will be buying this one when it hits the shelves.

Really hope the UK guys dont miss out on this!
