Western Wear clothes now available for your avatar

Headed to South By Southwest 2009 later this week? If so, get your Avatar duded up for your trip to Lone Star state. Not going to Texas? Don’t worry about it…you can still get in on the Western Wear action now available for your Avatar. Giddy yup!

All clothing choices are free, and will remain available. It is easy to tell what is new when you are in the avatar editor, just look for the gold star. Any item of clothing with a gold star is new since the last time you signed in to the avatar editor.

  1. Um Major… Pretty sure Kramer (Seinfeld) is the only person who uses “Giddy up!” I live in Texas and I can’t recall a person ever saying that.

    Gadget Man 007
(just busting your chops Major 🙂

  2. I know this is all for fun, but I really get annoyed by people that make the stereotypical gesture about Texas. Really makes me sad I live here. But still, its all in fun I guess.

  3. Can’t wait for some crazy clothes…
Sure these can be seen as Old West clothes, but not really…
All I ask for is to be able to make a Ninja Pirate Zombie Robot Avatar. Is that much to ask? 😛

  4. Shame that there’s only one of the cowboy hats in the Avatar update. With any luck we’ll soon get the brown and beige ones back from the NXE preview. The black hat doesn’t “work” with that many items.

  5. This is great, is there a long rider? I need my avatar to have that or a trenchcoat. Btw, when will we get some game related avatar updates. I’d love to have a Lego Star Wars stormtrooper helmet.

  6. ya i have been having a problems seening the new avatar clothes i dont see any cowboy stuff or any of the gta4 stuff i have seen any new stuff since dec. whats up with this and no new stars

  7. Not to be picky or anything… but we need more “urban” style clothing…

I guarantee a large majority of the xbl community would end up wearing some fitted hats or air force ones lol.

  8. I agree with I OgreRox I…
These here clothes sure are purdy, pardner, but we do need sumthin’ mo’ fitting fo’ city folk. Know I’m sayin’?
