Xbox LIVE Billing issues (updated: FIXED)


Currently, Xbox LIVE members may experience issues related to billing. That means difficulties with account recovery, account management, Marketplace functions and/or making purchases. Users who already have Microsoft Points in their account will be able to redeem them.  Until these issues are resolved, you will also be unable to sign in to, which includes posting in the forums and queuing up downloads on the Marketplace. All other areas of LIVE (matchmaking, friends lists, messaging etc.) are not affected.


The engineers are actively working to resolve the issues as quickly as possible. Keep an eye on the Xbox LIVE Status page in the support section of which will be updated when conditions change.

    hey major nelson the day we had the billing issues i bought a microsoft points card from game stop xbox live took the code but did not give me my points and its saying the cards been used now yet still no points, called up xbox support today and there saying the billing issue still isnt fixed yet your saying it is im confused on whos correct and also i would like my 1600 points that were not given to me >.>

    The problems are NOT completely fixed. Marketplace took my 4000 MS Point code and never gave me my points. Now the code has been exhausted, and I cant get my points. Why are we being lied to? Tech support also state that they are still having issues.

    This issue has not be fixed. Me and my friend are still having problems purchasing points through Xbox Live.
