    I have both games and, yeah, GH is so far behind RB/2 it isn’t funny. Personally, I like the music in both games but the MP in GHWT is so terrible compared to RB2 that I cannot remember the last time I even put in the GHWT disc.

    Now, as far as this track pack.. wow, the Pixies !!! I am not going to say much, still getting hate mail from trashing the Pixies on YouTube.. and my opinion has not changed. I will note, though, that I DO like the song “Wave Of Mutilation”.. other than that, well, yeah….

    GH is really doing things wrong… and their DLC catalog is simply histerical and, IMHO, pointless and pathetic.

    GH, as a whole, may have more purchases but I would say RB2 has em beat in every way that counts.

    Don’t believe me ? Add me to your friends list and start up GHWT and invite me into a band tour with you. Ohhhhh rightttttt, you CAN’T with GHWT. Maybe we could just… nope, nevermind, GHWT doesn’t do that either.

    GH really need to make their songs comaptible with the different games…I only own RB2, but have all my songs from RB1, the bonus pack I got with RB2, DLC songs, Track pack 2, AC/DC pack, and will soon have the Classic Rock and Country track packs (when they release), and all of my songs are avaialable whether I am playing RB1 or RB2. GH currently has II, III, Aerosmith, GHWT, and Metallica, with Greatest hits coming soon, and none of the songs (or DLC purchased for any one particular version) play on any other version, which is the reason why I only download GH DLC when it is free. I won’t pay for something that is obsolete as soon as the next version is released, and with 3 titles released in 8 months, they are telling me that they don’t want my money (the three are GHWT 11/08, GHM 03/09, GHGH 06/09).

    Lips mics FTW!!! Can’t believe it took so long, now the big choice is between my M.I.C. (with integrated controller) or cool looking wireless!

    @Killer Scuzzy J: Actually the Death Magnetic album does work for three of the games (GH3, GH:WT, and GH:M), but that’s the only DLC that works for more than one GH game.

    I was really dissapointed that they didn’t finally implement DLC compatibility in GH:M (since they no longer had the “completely different engine” excuse they had going from GH3/GH:A to GH:WT). The fact that you can play all but 3 of Rock Band’s over 600 songs using one game engine with no disc swapping required is an awesome feature. That’s a big part of why I have absolutely no desire to buy GH:WT.

    impression I get from gh dlc is that they are just putting the easiest songs(let’s say on guitar) so they wouldn’t have to spend lot of time charting them,
    look at the songs – 90% is your typical chord-fest and nothing more,
    it’s pathetic really.
