Fallout 3 still in the top 10, shows that a no online game can still be one of the best. Beth really knows how to make games that will take years to finsh.

how come Sam & Max didn’t make the list, it was a pretty fun game

@wolfzero01 – Chances are people weren’t willing to stump up the points and/or already had the game (possibly for cheaper) on PC or Wii. It just came to us too late.

If KOF98 sold so well, howcome I can’t find any matches online? Not that it matters because when I do get into a game the input lag is terrible and I’m just rubbish anyway.😀

People. Check out Red Faction. To have the most fun play on Casual (it isn’t that casual) and the multiplayer is awesome. Hoping this game gets more love.

Worms 2 is fantastic, glad they kept it to 800 points. I hope they haven’t lost to many sales due to the current xbl arcade problems.

Castle Crashers is still there? amazing that a team of half a dozen designers/programmers could create a $15 arcade game (see MS Point math is not so difficult) that would be among the top 10 sold every week. it shows that if you build a quality arcade game, that people will flock to it no matter the price.

also, go Rock Band 2. the day that i switched from Guitar Hero to Rock Band was a good day.

@FlagshipFighter Monkey Island won’t be number 1 next week, possibly the week after though. Next week will belong to Battlefield 1943 (only about 16 more hours to go!!!).

Yay for Rock Band 2!!!!!!! I don’t understand why it’s on the top 10 just now. It must be the hype for the Beatles: Rock Band that’s getting people to play it a lot more.

Yeah it will be all 1943 next week. I don’t think that all 3 CoD games will be there come Novmeber. WaW and 4 will die as everyone will play MW2

@davidkenobi: there will only be 3 Call Of Duty games on the top ten in spirit, as Modern Warfare 2 has dropped the COD moniker. it’s just Modern Combat 2 now, though focus testing has shown that hype/brand awareness has fallen since it’s not associated.

Always fin the Rock Band 2/Guitar Hero World Tour back and forth interesting. I’m guessing that the release of Smash Hits divided the user base while Rock Band 2 is still active.

If the Original Xbox list should be replaced with anything, it should be a Top Game Add-ons Purchased list. I don’t think most people can even NAME ten GfW titles, let alone rank them. lol

@MACPH1ST0 All you will see is whatever add-on came out that day is on top of the list. People buy these add-ons in mad rushes than it trickles down to just a few people every so often. Kind of boring compared to GFWL, you can see whose played what recently and in what order. I think that makes more sense.

@IconicSoulJA: Trends in add-on sales really aren’t that much different than retail game sales, except when there are specials (e.g. Deal of the Week). There are some things that will mirror the retail game list, like Halo, Gears or CoD map packs, but also other top-sellers that you might not expect. It’d be more interesting to see those trends in add-on sales than GfWL, which really aren’t that popular. Also with a Game Add-ons Purchased list, you’d be able to see things like how the Hasbro games are selling individually (since they are technically considered to be add-ons), rather than having them all lumped together on the Arcade list. But hey if we could somehow get both lists added, that’d be cool too.:)
