I bought this game at launch – Codemasters do decent racers normally and the scenario sounded like Motorstorm brought across to the xbox.

The game looks pretty, but I think they forgot to put the fun in it. Races are haphazard rubberband affairs, the day and night cycle should have been called light on / off, as it is basically impossible to navigate at night and the whole open world idea in my view falls flat on the face because the landscape is too empty to be of any interest.

Just my 2p – deeply disappointed.

i bought this game at launch – its not made by the same developer as Grid / Dirt etc, it is purely an arcade off-roader…you’ll either love it or hate it…me i love it, its huge, loads of races, challenges, things to find…will take you an age to complete. The physics are pure arcade but that suits the environment, the AI is a little rubber band but so are most arcade racers but it doesn’t feel that way too much most off the time, if you get owned by the AI just keep trying and you’ll win.
My 5p is its great fun and a lengthy game which is rare nowadays
