Sweet, be interesting to see how they have translated one of the most hardcore flight sims in recent memory to a console.

This demo is interresting as its a sim on a console.. which is maybe the first time ever?
There isnt many flight games either on 360. Ace Combat 6, HAWX and Blazing Angels atleast..

Ace Combat 6 is my favourite so far. HAWX wasnt even close.. I finished whole HAWX in only a few hours and feels like stripped down AC 6.

AC6 is / was the closest thing to a sim we had, hopefully now, IL2 will cure that

I played alot of IL2 on the PC years ago, so it will be nice to revisit an old friend.

Played it, it’s alright. Even though Air Superiority is a little fun on Battlefield 1943, I’m not ready for a plane game…

Control system is really designed for a flight stick and lags a lot when using a controller.

This game is a HARDCORE SIM. Extremely unforgiving, just like its PC counterpart. Played the PC one for years, awesome sim. This version is going to scare just about everybody on Realistic and Sim mode as it is completely unforgiving and you will die a LOT from crashing as a result of stalls and spins. I think the only way people like myself will truly enjoy this one is if the 360 gets a good flightstick – otherwise I am going to stick to the PC version with my HOTAS controls, which are much easier to fly with. All in all, a brilliant implementation and as best as can be done with the gamepad – so give it a shot, but be prepared for an exponential learning curve.
