  1. I don’t know if the update is available yet but EA has stated that they are adding button controls into the full game so for everyone asking, yes, you’ll be getting it. If not now, then should be soon.

  2. @sc00termcg33

lol i thought they went bankrupt lol i just dont know why they didnt do this the first time odd all ea doing is wasting space on the server….. hay major i hope the xbox live guys deleted the old demo…

  3. …and there goes the “skill” of Fight Night…now it’s just a really good looking FaceBreaker! I really enjoyed the use of the sticks in both Rnd 3 and 4, but then I don’t like the Tony Hawk games and enjoyed the skills you needed to play Skate 1 and 2. Maybe it’s just me, but I like games with more challenging control schemes (Too Human)…when I want to button-mash, I pick up a Dynasty Warriors game (or FaceBreaker!)

  4. Actually, I didn’t buy this game b/c I heard about the analog only controls. I would assume there is a lot more people like me that made a major dent in the sales for this popular franchise.

Also, I have decided not to buy it still out of principal. Sorry EA, just another game to add to my “Do not Buy” list, I’ll put it right next to the Madden Series on my list.

  5. the “skill” comment I made was that it takes more thought, i.e. skill, to get the timing and exact movement down to throw the right punch (especially in the middle of an intense fight) with the analog sticks than to “push B”. If you played the game, you know that the control scheme for haymakers and hooks was tricky (like doing certain tricks in Skate…you had to get the stick to just the right place, then roll it around the edge to the top, and if you do it wrong you only throw a jab) and body shots required a trigger modifier, so taking that out and making it now a game where you can throw 20 in a row by spamming a button will definitely change the game. It’s not like you couldn’t change EVERY difficulty/ slider/ setting if the game was any kind of challenge whatsoever!
