  • Zeta Crossfire

I loved the Wet demo it was amazing. It was like playing Kill bill and every other tarintino movie combined i also loved the filter. Everything about the game just screams win. I think we just found the new Lara Croft.

  • B5D Heyy You

That sucks Halo 3’s only 2nd. I wonder when ODST rolls around if it will be back on top. I also wonder if ODST will make it into the top 10.

  • Matu Flp Krawfe

You know, considering the generally unsuprising nature of the top 4 or 5 games it might be a good idea to extend the top ten to a top 15, or even, 20 so we can have a more dynamic view of xbox live.

  • Chitwood7412

I must say Batman: AA is a great game nice to see it in the top 10. Shadow Complex is the best arcade game I have and I see a lot of other people liked it also.

  • Supreme Entity

WHERE ARE THE ‘SPLOSION MAN UNLOCKABLES!!!!! Twisted Pixel says it’s all on you Microsoft…—Splosion-Man-s-Awardables-Patch-Release-Up-To-Microsoft.html

Twisted Pixel announced today details on their title update for ‘Splosion Man, along with the information that the awardables patch won’t be included, as it is up to Microsoft on when it will be released. The awardables will go along with the new Xbox Live update that will allow for Avatar accessories to be awarded for achieving certain things in the game.

Another big announcement is that within the title update there will be a patch to help correct an exploit that allowed players to post scores that were impossible to obtain, which allowed them to be at the top of leaderboards that they didn’t deserve to be. The patch will release at 2 a.m PDT on Tuesday, September 1st, which is less than 12 hours from now. This will clear out leaderboards so that only legit scores remain.

This will also coincide with the upcoming “Speedy Splode” contest, which will span the week of September 6th-12th. In this contest, players will try to get the best time on single-player level 3-8. The winner will receive a unique ‘Splosion Man trophy and an autographed poster of the developers.

Good to see WAW still on top, Maybe they can squeeze one more map pack in before
    modern warfare 2.

  • Cannon Fodder06

Not sure how much data you have and how many games on the overall list, but I wonder where the top arcade ranks on the list of user rank of games played?

  • ChargingMuffin

Wow, FIFA 09 just keeps appearing and appearing. Great game. Arkham Asylum is pretty low down because it was only released on Friday in Europe.

  • ImaginedBug

Nice to see B:AA in the top 10, especially with Europe not getting it until Thursday (the post was slow, I didn’t get it until Saturday). I just wonder if it’ll prove fun a second play-through.

Oh, and Major, do you know if there are plans to give more countries access to the “indie games”?

  • AOClaus

It’s interesting that 4 of the top 10 original Xbox games are Star Wars games.

  • Makavelo

    Batman: AA is awesome.

when do we receive are free ms point for buy are the summer arcade

  • Blue Thunder28

I MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MB1ES!!!1 is my favourite downloadable title I recommended to all my friends 😀

  • Mongey Mongrel

How is gears 2 4th every week for over 6 months? I just dont believe it. It doesnt go up or down . Always 4th .I think these figures are fixed .

  • wolfzero01

glad to see Batman in the top 10. I’m having fun playing it (got the PS3 version because I wanted to play the Joker challenges which are a blast to play)its definitely the best Batman game ever.

  • slambert15

I’m disapointed to see CoD WaW in first. I thought that game was just a bad rip-off of CoD 4.

  • BlackSmoke

Yeah it’s time to expand the list to at least 15. The more games you put on the list the more it might inspire people to start playing those games. I wish more people would start playing Shadowrun, I find it quite addicting and it keeps going and going.

  • Warrengonline

wow!! Streets of Furt is on the top 10 Indie!! (applause-applause!) Old school, creative and very funny! Best use of ‘palette swapping’. I enjoy it, but also wished it was also online co-op.

Even with all the bad press, my favorite underdog game Too Human is getting A LOT of good ratings. Surprise, finally real gamers are playing and understanding it.

I thought Shadowrun was awesome – though I was like three months late to join my fray of friends. They all were like “Why are you playing that gmae?” Yadda yadda. After getting my single player training achievements – Following suit with another friend, I sold that game and Stranglehold. Bad choice, never will do it again (I don’t usually sell my games). The teamwork needed was awesome usually. Everyone knew their role or were assigned one, no real gripes. I’ll probably add it back to my collection later. I loved being invisible and casting the Tree of Life. “Hold it, hold it, hold it.. Look out he’s coming for you…” 🙂

  • Jax Demon

    Mongey Mongrel

I am with you there about Gears 2, It’s one of the worst online games I have ever played due to the issues and Host selection. I am really suprised it has not had a product recall it’s just that bad. But then again go on the forums and you see people creeping upto Epic games devs like they are some kind of gods when in reality they shipped a game with a poor online game mode.

Batman: AA is a really good game, I thought it would be cheesy but i feel the people behind it have done a great job and people should buy it, Has hours of fun and loads of replay value.
Pretty dark game aswell, the scarecrow moments are kinda freaky and gives me the creeps.

  • Searing Wave

Bleh. World at War leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Really excited for Modern Warfare 2. That will keep me entertained for a long while, then it will be Halo 3 again until Reach. 2010 is shaping up to be a fantastic year for games. Reminds me of 2007 a bit.

  • Wingman1977

I don’t know why they count single player games that have no multiplayer in it. Seems kind of dumb IMO.

  • Warrengonline

Ugh… Sleepy typo. Streets of Furt = Streets of Fury
