LOL I’m ashamed to admit that I downloaded this for 800 points… And have never played it. Good deal, though! Especially considering how much the game goes for, now.

Meh… Just bought the game _and_ the DLC for 8 pounds on eBay.

PoP Classic would be a better deal.:/

Ooh, not a bad deal at all – here’s hoping PSN follows suit! Bought the game from a sale for ten quid about a week ago, finished it yesterday, and although there’s still some heavy duty light seed collecting and speed running to do, I’m most likely picking up the DLC as soon as those side activities are done.

800 -> 560 deals aren’t even worth it IMO. You would still normally need to buy 800 points for it anyways.

That’s kind of a Negative way to look at it, moocow… lol

If you are buying your points in those small increments all the time, eventually that leftover 240 is going to add up to something.

LOL I’m ashamed to admit that I- oh hang on a minute I don’t post the same crap three times in a row.

Right then, 560? Are you having a laugh, you stingy spivs? Surely you mean 400. Anyway this isn’t a terrible deal, it’s just not very good. Epilogue is alright but you won’t play it more than twice, and that’s only if you’re after achievements.
Not worth the 800 I paid but I happened to have just finished PoP at the time so yeah. These pop up on eBay from time to time for less than this anyway,

The UK dash is showing the deal as being Prince of Persia Classic on XBLA, what’s up with that?

Did I post it 3 times in a row? Wonder how that happened… I swear that I only did it once.

Not a horrible deal. Had a friend who bought it and thought it was overpriced so I skipped on it. Went ahead and got this since doubt it will get any cheaper. Been wanting to play it again anyways.

Oh nice! Was waiting a while to buy this DLC and just got some points last week. Was going to purchase it then, but it’s like they read my mind! Defiantly going to have to purchase this now.

Please enlighten me. I honestly don’t know the pretext of this download. Was this the end of the game or was it simply additional/optional story wrap up?

If this was indeed the ending of the game, I have to be honest and say that I think it stinks! Are we really paying to see the end of the game on top of the original asking price of the game (assuming it was initially released at the usual 59.99 US)? Now that it’s been reduced in price accross the board, it’s easier to swallow, but as an avid gamer and one who, like a lot of us, has been affected by the economy as of late, it’s becoming a rare treat to be able to go out and purchase a new game off the shelf and if developers are then releasing incomplete experiences, only to then ‘blackmail’ you into buying more content to get the full story/experience, I have a problem with that.

Now if this content was extra/optional, then that’s different, but I keep hearing that it’s not, so again, correct me if I’m wrong.

Just 30% is pretty lame, imho. Why not 50%?
Anyway, I already have it, I bought it together with the retail game.
While I really loved the main game, the Epilogue is really horrible. It’s boring, frustrating, with the same bosses you already encountered 5 times in the main game…

I had this DLC for free but I sold the code before using it. 67/100 on Metacritic disappointed me. According to the Achievements List, the DLC seems to only last 2-3 hours, and no good addictions to the gameplay. As kuroi albatross states, DLC’s boss is a kind of shapeshifter who will take the shape of the same bosses you defeated over and over in the original game.
I absolutely LOVE PoP franchise but this DLC simply puts me off.

Anyway, the deal is not bad even if I’d like to see some DLC discounted to 400 MS Points. If you’re not a Guitar Hero/Rock Band player prepare to waste your 240 on avatar items, themes or pictures pack.

I hope MS will put Dig Dug, and some other classic, at 200 MS Points again so we can get rid of the spare points!

I think I will have no deal of the week this month: I searched through the web and next deals seems to be BUKU SUDOKU (not sure for this one… It was a deal on japanese market place last week…), JEWEL QUEST and GOLF: TEE IT UP at 400 MS Points each. I already own Golf: Tee It Up and don’t like Sudoku (it’s free on the web!) neither Jewel Quest so nothing good for me. Sorry.

Think of it this way. If you buy a Deal of the Week every 4 weeks, that’s about 240 points you save. Over the course of the year, that adds up to about 3120 points, or $40 USD. If you buy your Xbox Live Gold membership around the holidays (usually $40 USD), then you just made your money back, got all the content you wanted, plus all the Gold benefits for “Free.”

    How about them apples?
