Does anyone know if this demo has an English option? I’d love to load up the JP account to play it, but I’d also love to understand it.

    why Japan only?

It’s Japan only because they want to release the demo a bit closer to the US release date over here. It’s coming out soon in Japan, but was delayed until next year in other territories for marketing reasons.

    Heart..breaking…clutching at heart…pain….eyes swelling….up with….tears…can’t breathe T_T

I failed to notice that it said Japan only since I saw Bayonetta Demo and got all excited, rushed to my Xbox and frantically searched the Game Marketplace.

I guess its ok…I can wait a couple more months…T_T

Just make a PSN Account and download the demo on your ps3 from the Japanese Store. This game is deadly, so pissed its delayed till next year for us.

So I downloaded and played both the PSN demo and the 360 demo, and the PSN demo is much better. Don’t get me wrong, the PS3 version runs like crap compared to the 360.

From a content perspective, however, the PS3 has a superior demo to attract newcomers. Starting the 360 demo off with the clock tower sequence is a bad call; it’ll just frustrate and overwhelm people trying to learn the game. Not a big deal in the final product as the sequence is part of an opening where you can’t die and you have an AI partner helping you out. As it stands, this will scare off a lot of people who download the 360 demo on a whim. The train station level the PS3 demo starts with is a much better introduction to the game and it’s mechanics.

Bottom line: the 360 demo is just going scare a lot more potential customers away than the PS3 demo
