… and no UK release as well, even though the developers are based in the UK. I was looking forward to this.

    So no European release. Bah.

I’m confused about the lack of European release on this one.

What rights issues could there be?

Very simple, if I can’t get the game here when other countries do, that’s one less sale the dev’s get, even after the game is launched here… All these region locking and availability issues should be EXTINCT in 2009. The world is a global economy after all.

Know what’s funny? I can download this right now on my UK PS3, so why can’t I on my UK 360?

Anyhow, was interested in this, not any more.

But if you were in the US, you could download it right now on your US 360, but not on your US PS3. Maybe there’s some kind of exclusivity (timed perhaps) deal going on in particular regions. It’s not a very good game anyway. I have it on the PS3. It looks better than Bankshot Billiards 2, but it’s not as good a game.

I’m not seeing this on the UK PSN store on my PS3. Does it have the same name on PS3?

@rastansaga – It’s definitely still on there. I’ve just checked. Use the search at the top of the store’s home page and type in “Inferno” and you’ll find it. It’s £6.29 and there’s no demo.

I bought Inferno Pool on PS3 earlier this year (EU/PAL), and it was cheaper back then..
The price i payed then equaled to 600 points.

And this “region shit”? Its even worse on PS3/PSN…Live mostly have worldwide release, while PS3 barely has. I know because i buy new stuff on both.

“The Invincible Tiger” for example.. was released months ago on 360 EU+USA.. on PSN.. its USA only and no word on EU release.

Slapping a ‘cool’ word before what the game is does NOT make a game cool, or even enjoyable.
At least it’s not another ‘Super’, ‘Ultimate’ or some of those overused words. *remembers the ‘Tits of Blood’ joke*

Pretty inexcusable that this didn’t get released in Europe. I have no idea why its a US and Asia exclusive as there doesn’t seem to be any logical reason for such. I does annoy me a lot that Microsoft continue to allow things like this to happen. I feel as if that they, knowing we all have to pay membership, should be doing the best they can to ensure everyone gets everything thats released.
Nevertheless I didn’t think it looked that great anyway, specially when compared to the awesome HD trailer for the pool game Hustle Kings thats coming to the PSN. The graphics in the E309 trailer for that game looked awesome.
