Uneventful… Only thing I cared about was the Uverse coming to the 360, FINALLY! I’ve been waiting for, what, 3-4 years now since the last time you announced it. If it really going to be coming this time? I want to buy another 360 to use as a 2nd receiver, cost is $8/mo for it now and it doesn’t play games or divx. Also, it would have been nice to put a cost to the Natal considering it’s going to be over $200 and most people will need to be prepared for that cost.

I was one of those who bought a Tablet PC. In 2004. I used it more as a laptop, occasionally poking it with the stylus instead of using the mouse. The only change I see from these slate PCs 2009 Edition are the multitouch capabilities and thinner screens.

@Casserole heh think it could go abit more then touch screen if the put a smaller ver of natal on tablet and make it user friendly it could do lot more…

Major, are the Chocobo codes still being sent out yet? I signed up the first day for it as soon as I saw your tweet about it, and I’ve been checking my inbox and junk mail every day since you said they were being sent out, but I still haven’t seen it yet. Could you please let us know what the deal is? Thanks!

To quote Lance Ulanof, “It’s understood that, as Ballmer did, you’ll do a recap of previous accomplishments. There’s nothing wrong with any of this; it’s called setting the table. However with the table set, all the implements around me, and an empty plate in front of me, I waited for Ballmer to fill it with something new…and kept waiting.”

So, guess that’s it from CES? Nothing more to report, no demos, no free junk, no… nothing? really. Way more uneventful than I would have figured.

very disappointed in the Game Room announcement and the more details that come out the less interested i get. as is, the Game Room is not the freedom i was hoping for at all. actually, its the exact opposite.

as is, not having the ability to explore the space with my avatar is an absolute dealbreaker. currently there are no social spaces to just chill and check out random/friends avatars and the arcade rooms themselves are not the sort of private space i want to customize.

microsoft chose to monetize an area similar to a part of sonyHome that i have absolutely no interest in: old 8bit arcade games. i dont need microsoft to hold my hand and direct my attention. if they give me the freedom to do the things that i want ill probably buy something in my own time.

i really hope the Game Room is just the first piece of a much larger project that microsoft will tell us more about very soon. if the Game Room debuts as is i wont be playing an old arcade games at all. i want to show off my avatar, not my questionable taste in games just as old as i am.

Either way, I think Game Rooom will be good, they should give you a choice of one or two free games for it when you download it. Like Tinker.

Where’s Joyride? I really hope you don’t make us pay for that game..we were supposed to get it around Nov last year what happened.

My 8 yr old daughter is more interested in Project Natal than I am, I will check it out on vids on youtube to see if its worth it when it comes out just to be on the safe side.
