I’ll give them each a shot. Between all the DLC I’m buying this week (Forza 3, Shift, Borderlands), if I end grabbing one of these games, it will be an expensive week.:)

I’d like to see some remakes of classic Amiga and PC games now that true arcade games will be verboten. All new IPs are fine and dandy, but only if the quality level is high.

And I’m still waiting for an XBLA Rogue-like (Moria, Angband, Nethack) etc.

Fret Nice- for hyperactive kids who love to fail
lazy raiders- gets to confusing with flipping the map
greed corp- nice idea, but not deep enough.

Finally 3 games again in one week, but i would prefer quality rather than quantity.
    Crap.

Dizzy? I didnt notice that, I found it to be a very fun game straight from the start. Games that hand out avatar awards just for buying is a nice surprise also!

Finally a game that implements avatar suport and do it nicely. Lazy Raiders ain’t deep but it’s the kind of arcade with simple mechanics but a high fun factor to it and I’m sure it will be challenging in the mid-late game stages. The fact it doesn’t just put in your avatar like previous games did, but gives him/her propper ingame gear to suit the game theme and fitting animations. So far looks like it’s worthy.

I found Greed corp funny too despite it’s a turn based strategy game it’s simple enought to have quick matches and equal opportunities to strategy fans and newcomers to the genre. I think the demo doesn’t show that much to judge it as not being so deep and in fact, other ways than outnumber the enemy (like destroying his land) are encouraged.

Fret nice is way too much expensive for what it offers. Yeah, it’s a fresh idea and pretty cool (on paper) but I’m not sure that it works so well in real life. I don’t see me playing thru a whole 2D platform game messing with the fret buttons and bangin’ the guitar up and down everytime I want to jump. IMHO this is so different to say the least, that should have had a cheaper price tag so people could give it a try to the whole thing.

ermm, What do you mean there? Are there any new things you can do in the full game? Any new Vehicles, Units, possibilities…? Anything? No.
So you can judge it by the demo. Like i said, nice idea, but it would be better with a little bit of luck implemented. Like in the game “Risk” where you have to roll a dice when fighting and not saying “Give me your land, I have 12 units you have just 11”. Know what I mean?
Pretty quickly you will find out that there is maybe one or two ways to win a game. And online everyone who wants to win will do so.

Funny bug happened when I downloaded trials of these games. For some reason Lazy Raiders was stuck on 99%, so I canceled the download and went to memory to delete the corrupted file. Guess where I found it? It was under Fret Nice… which I had already deleted😛

@o0 Daz 0o: Yup…don’t know if it was too much rotation or if I was just sitting way too close to my HDTV…but definately one I’ll have to give more of a chance before I considering purchasing the full game.

I just need a good multiplayer game that can replace Castle Crashers. My buddies and I need a new arcade game.

Seems Ill pass all games. Better saving my points to rebuy some of the arcade titles I already purchased for that Game Room coming soon. But Greed Corp would be a candidate at me. Well, I own Carcassonne and Catan. Its about land too. So Ill pass:-)

My son and I are really enjoying lazy raiders. It is nice to have a game that is E for everyone that is a bit challenging and not too kiddy like. My son loves the sounds (he’s 4 years old) and he laughs out loud while playing it. He hands me the controller when the levels are too tough and I find them challenging enough. The fun part will be going back and getting better times after he is through messing with it. I’m happy with the 800 point expense, good game.

Could someone explain to me how I can lower the refresh time for the game library? After finishing one game (like the Greed Corp demo), it takes far too long to display my other games.

Maybe you should free some hard drive space or it’s just your download history is too big (I was told long ago that it checks your history each time you go to marketplace or library so it can show you the downloads you already have as checked).
Have you many retail games instlled or did you try to erase the cache ?

Anyway you should ask at xbox.com forums instead of here, I’m sure people who knows better will be happy to help you.

Concerning to the arcades, I’m holding PB winterbottom and lazy raiders purchases since all block party titles will be out but this smells like Project dark and the aforementioned will be the ones and Toy soldiers/scrapmetal (despite I have high hopes for this as it’s from the N+ guys and kinda reminds me twisted metal) will wait till they come as DOTW offers. Time and demos will tell.

I agree with Dragon, would love to see something like Angband/Moria on XBLA.
