How about letting us know what the deal is about the ‘build-a-code’ for the avatar prop promo?

Not a single person i know has been given part one of their code for buying/trying toy soldiers, even though it was supposed to have appeared on the dashboard…

I got my code. It was on the Marketplace section. Scroll to the right until you see it. (If it is there)

^^ I got mine also, right off the dashboard. Game marketplace tab, all the way to the right.

Yeah I think people are expecting the code to stand out but it looks like the Block Party Add only with the code there. I think that is why people might be missing it.

The HOUSE/BLOCK PARTYTRIAL OFFER ( build-a-code for free avatar gear) didn’t work for me either… with you Mewtwo I know only 2 users who got their code scrolling right the dashboard on the games marketplace. Incidentally, both people who told that are canadians.

May people over europe aren’t getting this due to different region marketplace stuff (each region is known to show different stuff on the dashboard. IMO it also isn’t related to the “it’s limited so don’t wait till last moment” cause I downloaded toy soldiers trial at the very first hours it came avaliable, so I think it need a fix for euro gamers.

Concerning to scrap metal, I have high hopes. Those guys published N+ on XBLA and the whole thing makes Off Road, Rock n Roll Racing and twisted metal come to my mind so, if it’s just a little close to any of those titles it will be utterly fun:)

I will buy Scrap Metal..It reminds me of “Roadkill” on Amiga/CD32, but also Rock’n Roll Racing
    …………
Roadkill is still the best ever i think. It have awesome GFX, Mortal Kombat style atmosphere, awesome music, awesome physics etc. I think that game only got top reviews.:)

2400 + whatever the 3rd game will be. The 400ms points will barely be a refund. Speaking of refunds, where my EA refund for 3 pieces of dlc on Frebuary, or was it January?

Im aware of a few people who have gotten their codes and are pointing out where the content is on the marketplace, trouble is – its their but blank for me and many others.

Game Marketplace tab – scroll right along to the end ( beside game library )

Their is a house party tab with ‘ Special Code Part 1 : ‘ – its blank!

Beneath it says ‘ unlock your block party avatar prop ‘ , pressing A on this tab just brings up the avatar marketplace block party selection .

I quite liked Toy Soldiers (except for the main screen music) and I’m really looking forward to Perfect Dark. Scrap Metal, is probably the one that I will get the least enjoyment out of. It does appear to have some pretty awesome multiplayer potential so I may yet be proven wrong.

@Chiruno99: I received my 800 points for the EA deal about a week ago.

@chiruno99: The third game is Perfect Dark, which should be an instant buy for everyone regardless, especially for 800 points.

I’ve been somewhat interested in Scrap Metal, it looks fun and I used to really enjoy games like Micro Machines, Rock and Roll Racing and Twisted Metal. There’s not really been anything like this in quite a while.

Oh if it’s Perfect Dark then it’s a definete buy. Especially since I heard or probibly dreamt there were Goldeneye weapons and maps.

Nice to see people remembering Rock n Roll racing:) multiplayer in scrapmetal looks promising.

    @ Velete

There’s not even a blank pannel for me, regarding to the 1st part of the code at marketplace.

    @ chiruno99

Sure there will be maps of goldeneye, I’ve seen them on the XBLA Perfect Dark trailer😉

@Velete – whats this about the promo code, i didn’t know about it till now. i guess we get a part of the code each time we buy a game? An at the end we will have the whole code
I will have to keep and eye out of that then

I’ve watched the trailer and seen the screens and I have to say this game reminds me of any number of offerings in the WalMart $7.99 to $9.99 crapware PC rack. Graphically and gameplay wise, it decidedly looks like it’s a 7 year old PC game.

In other words: Not worth $15.00.

I am in Canada and got my 1st part of the promo code, so far mine is the same as another person’s too. I’ll save judgment on Scrap Metal until I have checked out the demo. The screens haven’t reeled me in yet. I *DO* already have my points reserved for Perfect Dark. I will likely stay up until it hits the marketplace the night before release. Yes, I am that stoked about an old game. I love how they kinda worked around the Goldeneye/James Bond licensing to make this a robust release for XBLA. *STOKED* I tell ya…
