Good to see that good games like Halo 3, MW2, and BFBC2 are getting the online play that they deserve. Good thing that Mass Effect 2 is also in there.

good to see BFBC2 up in 5th cant wait to see how it goes when DICE’s servers are all okay and EA get there servers sorted out should be able to get into maybe 2nd. i wont be able to take 1st from Angry Glitchwar 2 becuase that has to many Blind/Redneck Fanboys.

Of all the people who call games names (gaylo? LOLOL U FUNNEH) that sound like something a mentally-challenged three-year-old would come up with… 90% of the time they have that game in their recently-played games list. Like, right there, next to your comment. Under your name. As in, you just played it, you just helped it get up to that spot on the leaderboards.

So, the only people who play MW2 are “Blind/Redneck Fanboys”??? …what does that make you exactly?

Protip: If you’re going to flame a game and it’s fanbase, try and not include yourself in that game’s fanbase. Looks bad. I rather enjoy flaming CoD:WaW and the ridiculous number of new Guitar Hero games, and you don’t see me playing them myself. Yeah, I’ve dabbled to get a feel for them, but I don’t go playing it and then flaming people on them within the month. See, I say something is bad, AND I don’t take part in it. If someone is really and truly against something, you’d think that they wouldn’t take part in it on a regular basis, wouldntcha?

And one last thing: If I’m a Halo fanboy, do explain why it is that you’ve played Halo 3 more recently than I have?

Why most you demean an entire group of people when you blast a game. Using the term Gaylo not only shows how unimaginative you are, but also shows how ignorant you are. Their is nothing wrong with being gay and every time you say something like Gaylo, you make it that much harder for a certain percentage of the population to live their life without being berated. If you don’t like Halo, why not use a term that doesn’t demean Halo?

YAY BF:BC2 on 5th…thats awesome and cant wait to see it going higher! BC2 is the best FPS i´ve ever played. I hope DICE will fix the servers very quick. Then everyone will be able to play it without problems. Looking forward to the next Top 10

The news.

Do you know how marble blast get to be on that top 20 only 2 ranks lower than PB Winterbottom (one of the latest and best arcades out) ? Simple; the game is nice but has been arround for long time so someone decided it was a hit, dropped permanently the price to 400 points and people keep buying it everythen and now. Great value for the price tag plus it’s easy to acumulate spare points till you got 400 instead of burning those on 300+ point avatar items (or 5 times a 80 points items)

Not surprised BFBC2 didn’t get that high, and i don’t think that it will get any higher, it just doesn’t have the popularity of a COD or Halo, which is sad because I have heard nothing but good things from it.
The longer we move on I realize that the difference between the number 1 spot and the number 2 spot is extraordinary, at any given time during the day there is between 700,000-900,000 people playing MWF2 where as Halo has about 100,000-300,000. Quite a big difference, I do expect MWF2 numbers to drop, but not by much and the only game that will challenge it until fall is the Halo:Reach MP beta, (which by the looks of the trailers looks insane!), but it will be a record setting demo if it does beat it, but don’t be surprised if it doesn’t, but when Halo:Reach comes out in fall, i don’t think MWF2 will stand a chance.

I would expect Bad Company 2 to move up considering it didn’t come out until Tuesday in the US and Friday in the UK. If EA can get their servers straight, I’d assume it’ll be one of those constant titles appearing at the top with Halo and MW2 on a regular basis.

It’s also funny that the Xbox Dashboard was #3 on the original xbox list. Must be alot of chatting going on?

Bad Company 2 will definitely be higher next week when EA have got their act together and sorted out their servers (or lack thereof). I don’t think it’ll beat MW2 however, because that game has become so established and is probably still selling well. You just have to ask the question “which franchise has more fanbois, Call of Duty or Battlefield?” and the answer is clear. MW2 will probably stay up top until Halo Reach (full game) goes live.

wow what a surprise…..someone with the gamertag FourZeroTwoIW calling halo 3 “gaylo”. i really hope you are 14 years old or younger otherwise i feel sorry for you. in other news, i would like to reiterate what zm40 said and what microsoft doesn’t realize. if you discount a good game permanently it will sell MORE than it would at double the price most likely going above and beyond what you would have made at the higher price. they should always have at least one arcade game on sale even if its temporarily.

Why is the TOP 20 Live list polluted with non-multiplayer games? I think this list should be multiplayer games only whether that be co-op or vs modes. Just Cause 2 demo, Mass Effect 2, Assassins Creed… these titles shouldn’t be on the list in my opinion. The ‘LIVE’ list to me implies these are online mulitplayer enabled. Now if you want to make another list with the top games being played this week then fine, mix’em together.
