Wasn’t this originally supposed to be free and Mirosoft forced Valve to charge for it? So basically we are getting a reduced price for something that whould have never cost anything to begin with. THANKS!!!

Actually it’s cheaper (560points) than what it was supposed to be, but why can PC users get it for free and not 360 users?

Ok everybody let’s make a new rule.
If you’re complaining about the price of the content AND you have complained when it was first release please cut the amount of complaining by 50% this time around.

It’s probably worth 320 points since it’s nice to be able to play a versus match that doesn’t take forever, but you’d be better off just buying the PC version where it’s free (plus you can get tons of other free user made campaigns/maps).

onemorechanc – That’s what usually happens when the deal is good. Take last week’s for example (Geo Wars 2 half off), where almost every comment was in praise. Major can pass on our comments so saying when we don’t (or when we do) like a deal could actually help.

Did they ever fix the achievements on this? I just checked like two months ago and they hadn’t yet.

I all ready play it. Not as many people play it anymore. During the daytime its hard to find games.

Seems that after next weeks Zombie Island of Dr Ned that the week after could be Zombie Apocolypse or maybe to a lesser extent Stubbs on GOD discount, with the whole 30 days of Zombie thing on the dashboard!

People, I think you have to face it. MS policy doesn’t give away DLC for Free so we’ll never see this add-on free as it is on PC. I think this is the cheapest we can have, so it’s a deal. Yeah, maybe they’ll set it on 200 MSP on 2012 when the game will have 0 online players. The community is still good right now, so it’s the right time to enjoy this DLC.

It’s free on the PC? Well, I know. But I don’t have L4D on PC. If I want it I have to spend about 10$ at least I think. The DLC on 360 now costs 4$.

I have to choose between spending 10$ and 4$… So, what’s the bargain?😉

Its not that MS doesnt give dlc for free because theres plenty of free dlc around im pretty sure their policy is to do with dlc with achievements has to cost or something

@DJ Deathstar: Yeah but that goes back on MS. They are the ones who want to push the policy that only paid for DLC can have achievements, which is stupid. They’re just pointless points. They don’t really mean anything despite being called achievements (So many of them are either really easy, glitched, or can be rigged to get without too much trouble.)

And as for some of the others here…people DO have a right to complain about this. When the same DLC is free somewhere else and then MS acts like them charging for it is a deal is laughable. Geometry Wars 2 for 400 points…that’s a good deal. Dr. Ned DLC for Borderlands at 400 points…good deal. But this…no.

I have a complaint…but mine’s different than everyone else’s. I’m upset that The Maw wasn’t reduced for anyone but Japan since it was teased as everyone to begin with. And, yes, I know that the deal for The Maw was already given, but I was out of the country that week, so I missed it.

For the people who are saying the PC stuff is free. You know this is the 360 right? It’s not a PC it’s a console.

If 4 dollars is this insurmountable sum then why do you even have the 360 version? Shouldn’t you already have the PC version and not be responding to this at all?

The idea that “we have the right to complain” is totally true, you also have the right to look really bad while you’re doing it.

This is a pretty weak offer if it’s the only item being advertised. DLC inherently appeals to only a limited group of players, and if you’re going to discount DLC I would also very much like that a game be discounted too.

The Passing is coming out April 27th, its bad enough it costs 560 to buy it and that its yet again free on PC.
So i see no point in buying this when its older DLC and it is still free on PC as usual.
