I have had 400 points but no month gold
but i entered the uk red dead competition that also pays 400 points
so unsure what the 400 was for

Raystorm HD is not as good as the arcade version or Playstation port. Taito have gone the lazy route of zooming the gameplay in and stretching it horizontally, so the aspect is wrong on everything, and some missiles and enemies are hidden from view for longer than they should be, off the top of the screen. There are no display options to fix this.

At that price, it needed to be done properly – not a quick n dirty stretch. Such a shame, classic game wrecked.

Zeno Clash is great and well worth the 1200 IMO, but Raystorm on the other hand – Aside from what Tempest said above, the demo is literally about 25 seconds long, then you get a screen asking if you want to buy it and if you hit “continue game” it takes you back to the main menu where the only option is to start again or buy the game.

Noone got their BLOCK PARTY 400 points + 1 gold month yet… any official word on this Major ?

Not sure about Zeno Clash… waited long for this but knowing how quick those games drop its price on DOTW and unaware of this game’s lenght I’m right on the fence.
.
Raystorm feels lazy and bland. Moving the ship arround is realy uninteresting. Ikaruga was cheaper and is far better.

I agree…the promo stuff is always a bit shady, just like trying to find an actual winners list for some of the contests. There have been a few times when I had to send an email to get something I was supposed to automatically receive, so while I am sure that it might bother someone who it doesn’t concern, those of us who bought the games (some of which just to complete the requirements of the promo, as in my case) would like to get what we were promised, especially when the date passes!

On topic, like the demos, but no buy at 1200pts. 1200+ needs to be for BIG, original, games. I had no problem dropping points for a game like Shadow Complex, but HD remakes should max out at 800.

@CARNAGE RULES – I’m sorry “us poor people” have to buy our games with our own money, we don’t have mommy or daddy to buy us over 700 worth of games. So were just asking what happen to our points since we bought there games, we don’t have Mommy’s credit card to buy all those arcade games from the marketplace you know. go play one of you’re 715 games and think how happy you are mommy bought you all them

@DarkGin87: Then how about you actually call up Microsoft or their support staff instead of spamming Major’s blog. He’s just a community manager. You’d be more likely to get results if you call them up or tweet their support Twitter account.
