My previous Blur MP Beta demo stopped working (obviously on release of the game – it now disconnects from LIVE) so I think this has to be a regular MP demo.

Nope, as far as the link directs me it’s to the original Beta demo (I have the Already purchased indicator) which, as I said, wasn’t working for me last night.

Somebody has wires crossed. Doesn’t seem to be a new demo up on Marketplace, just the old MP Beta.

Yea, this was a new entry on my daily report…so that’s why I posted. I’ll have to see what’s different.

I am having a blast with this game. I recommend it to anyone with a passing interest in arcade racers.

yeah, this is the same file that’s been out for weeks, it already has the checkmark next to it saying that i already downloaded it. why does major post things so late anymore?

Will players who DL this and play it be allowed to transfer their stats to the full version, UNLIKE those who got on this earlier with the beta? Can they also play with gamers who are playing online with the full version as long as they have the same map and that jazz?

Yes this is the same MP demo as before, and yes it’s back online again. All your stats are still intact too. Not sure why they suddenly decided to put it back though when the full game has already been out for over a week now.

Ha, well I binned the old demo when it wasn’t connecting and I can’t really be arsed to re-download it again. It was good fun though, if I decide to get an arcade racer Blur would probably be my first choice.

good game but how much online life is this going to have after everyone is ranked to 50? hope they have plans to expand the multiplayer as I like to play games for winning/improved rankings.

Actually you can go around the loop 10 times so the maximum rank is actually 500. For each time you go legend you get a Legendary car. The side-effect is exactly the same as that other game. You lose everything when you do that.

On that note this game is one that you can easily end up in last place even if you were leading. The exact opposite can happen and even the last place person can cause a little havok for the guy in the lead.
