19 years since Sonic hit the Sega MegaDrive/Genesis, seems like yesterday, now I feel my age!

Hmmm, sounds awesome but I already have all of those. I have all the achieves for S3 and SK and most for S1 and S2. Good games nonetheless.

No you were right the first time. Sonic debut on the Genesis, then they ported a less flashier version to the Master System.
Too bad I already have all of these games, but for anyone that doesn’t these prices are a steal. You should buy them all if you haven’t all ready.

I just noticed PSN gets a 2 week deal on Sonic stuff, iTunes AppStore gets 1 week, and Xbox Live gets only one day? What’s up with that?

And the PSN sale has more content, DLC on Sonic 06 and Unleashed. However they don’t have any of these games.
To be fair, it’s content nobody should buy but it’s the thought that counts.
But yeah, make these deals last longer, MS.

besides, Sonic’s dead, he’s not doing anything new and interesting and the only people that care are Die Hard Sonic Fans, Furries and Chris-Chan.

Got all of these already on the Megadrive collection unfortunately. It’s a shame that doesnt include seperate achievements for the sonic games but it’s definitely not worth buying the games again just for that.

Nowadays Sonic isn’t as flashy and cool as it used to be, I understand that’s why peope dare to say Sonic’s dead. Let’s assume that’s true, now; who cares? Freddy Mercury (and the list goes on) is dead but it won’t stop Bohemian Rapsody being an awesome song and part of history. When Sonic came out it was like looking at 3D graphics to me.

I’m glad Microsoft keeps up with the deal streak. I won’t take them cause already own some both for genesis, MS, gamegear and even the 360’s ultimate genesis compilation so it won’t make much sense (in my case) to download those.

Sonic the Hedgehog for Genesis was one of the most memorable gaming experiences I have had. Back then, it was state-of-the-art in graphics and sound. The levels with the night sky were beautiful and had great music. Sonic trumped Mario because he was designed for an older audience. It was the first time games grew up.

@Zack Dollars, Sonic was never state-of-the-art (with all of it’s 64 colors or whatever) or designed for an older audience. My goodness it’s a cartoon hedgehog, lol. It just wasn’t as goofy looking as Mario’s puffy world.

I think I’ll wait until next year for the 20th Anniversary Deal. I’m sure these will be 100 points each for the 20th Anniversary. 19th is a stretch.
