Excellent, I’d been waiting for Winterbottom. Chime is rather interesting although I got that back when it was still charitable.

Nothing really worth getting for me this week. Defence Grid is an awesome game.

Dang! The Misadventures of P. B. Winterbottom for 400 points would’ve been a done deal! Nice to see DotW evolving beyond one item per week, though – keep it up, the route you’re taking is much appreciated!

I didnt care that much for Winterbottom, but the damn good atmosphere in the game made me buy it, and play it.😉 I also bought Poker Smash.. I already own Rocket Riot, Defense Grid and Chime. Rocket Riot is also worth 800 points.

Fun to see the eastern hemisphere users all up on these early morning posts.:)
Winterbottom is my kind of charming, but I don’t have time in my life for another puzzler. Time to give Defense Grid a try.

After seeing the great sales on Steam I must say these deals are poor.

Toothball: Chime is still charitable though. The nonprofit publisher, OneBigGame, aims to always donate, I think, 80% of their profits so buying Chime today still gives 60% of the purchase price to charity, as it did when it was first released back in February.

I played the trial for Darwinia+ and was a little underwhelmed. Can anyone comment on the replayability factor of this game?

There are some great deals here! I got “PB Winterbottom” after work today…the rest of the ones I like from this list I already own. Hey Major…still waiting on those family board game deals…such as “Carcassonne”…that would be sweet!

@ dirty whirlwind: Toothball is right. After June 3rd, the money made from the sales of Chime is no longer being donated to charity. http://www.trueachievements.com/n1353/chime-will-no-longer-be-charitable-after-june-3rd.htm
But it’s still a very fun music/puzzle game and anyone would be crazy not to get it at a steal of a price like 240 points.

damn, seriously? i just bought winterbottom a week ago. i wish i had known that waiting a week would equate to 50% off.

MACPH1ST0: Thanks for updating me with the link. I wasn’t aware of that. So I apologize to Toothball.

Although it’s kinda weird, a quick google search doesn’t give me anything else but the trueachievement article. You think that it would attract a little bit more attention. They don’t say nothing on their official page about it either, as far as I can tell.

@ dirty whirlwind: Yeah I thought that was a bit odd too. You’d think that something like that would be reported at the very least by sites like Kotaku and Joystiq, and not just TrueAchievements.

Darghs. Unfortunately, PB Winterbottom, Chime and Rocket Riot weren’t released for XBLA in Japan, so my choices are limited to Defense Grid, Darwinia+ and Poker Smash, which is a shame, because when I read about these deals over at Kotaku, I got really excited about getting Chime and PB Winterbottom this evening.:-/

The worst part is, as an American in Japan, I DO have a US account with points…but it’s silver, so I can’t get in on these deals.😦

Fantastic sales this week and only one person in the comments section is confusing the PC with the 360, overall it’s a great week.
Winterbottom is great for 400 (though I grabbed it at 800) and Poker Smash is pretty fun even though I have no idea how to play poker lol

Defense Grid is a great deal at 800 points, so getting it at 400 is pure thievery! Plus there are the new maps as DLC. Only 80 points($1)for each new set of 2 maps, so go get them.
