I just hope whomever is covering Comic-Con is better then the MSN guy from last year. His whole attitude was mocking comic and pop culture fans and the entire SDCC scene. Awful coverage.

@The Gh0sts: Didn’t he say he was going to Italy? A few months ago he was talking about getting a kindle instead of lugging books everywhere and mentioned a vacation.

Hah, loved the Nantucket and Price is Right discussions. Speaking of The Price is Right: Moment of silence for the run of Rich Fields as announcer. If you do want The Price is Right to replace 1 vs 100, go over to the folks at Ludia, they have an “in” to FremantleMedia, the current owners of TPiR and other fantastic game shows in the Goodson-Todman library (Press Your Luck anyone?).

Also, is there any indication as to who the Xbox Live Artist of the Month will be for August? If not, I have a suggestion. There’s a great band that was formed in the Seattle area, and they’ve basically been in the Seattle area for much of their career, before Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and the rest. Because of Ann and Nancy Wilson and Heart, the grunge scene in Seattle was allowed to happen by forces beyond their own control. Now, Heart has a brand new studio album coming out at the end of August, called Red Velvet Car, and therefore I suggest Heart (of Seattle, Washington) as the Xbox Live Artist of the Month for August. Nuff said.

Is the whole podcast crew going to be at the Avenged Sevenfold show at White River Amphitheatre in Auburn, Wa on 9/25/10?

Love the show, but levels are off. It was especially hard to hear Major in the beginning and when that 1st name the game sounder came in, I nearly jumped out of my seat. Listening from itunes, btw…

    Best to you guys…

Agree with Bstew. Levels are way off. Major and Stepto were low. Laura and the music were loud. Made it hard to listen to. If you played it regular you struggled to hear the guys. If you played it loud your hands went to protect your ears when Laura laughed.

The game type that stepto couldn’t think of while talking about the prior name-the-game is “Shoot Em Up”, commonly abbreviated it ‘shmup’.
