hey Larry, love the show as always, but where’s the sound of the Halo sounds on the Reach Limited Edition console where’s that blog, ME WANT THOSE SOUNDS!!!

  • DaMENACElo37

Yes i agree with mrfusiononcar I too want the audio files of that Halo reach console to use as messaging tones on my phone. Also I wouldnt mind the sounds the new xbox slim makes as well. I love having my blackberry make xbox noises when i get new tweets, facebook messages, and emails. So please Major, we the community would love those audio files to show everyone our love for everything XBox!!

Oh and I love the podcast listen every week. I dont mind the talking about your every day lives, it helps make you all seem down to earth and friendly. Keep up the hard work!!

And Laura is hot! Just saying…

  • TangyTangoJuice

Hey, I really want to know the song at the beginning of the podcast.
    Anyone know?
It sounds really good to me and I want to listen to the full song.

  • Hekate180

Did you confirm in the end “that guy”, “The dude from memphis/london/japan” who did the soundbytes 😀
Might be nice to add it to show notes, those intro’s are awesome.

Great show as always chuckling on the way to work and getting odd looks.

I would love to get someone on the show that can tell the core people what games are going to come out for Kinect. Also Sony is making some patches for Heavy Rain, Resident Evil, Flower, Pain and High Vilocity Bowling to make theMove. Will MS make any of the games shown in the past working with kinect patchable or will we need to buy new games? Also the price is steep. Real steep. So please get someone to talk about that. Maybe a preorder add on or something would be great. I have a HDDVD Player, Race Wheel and camera that are no longer supported. I dont want to get something else that will have a short life span. My first xbox was only supported for 3 1/2 years.

  • Orionz Dream

And dont get me started on my Zune HD.

  • Alex Atkin UK

Why do people keep claiming the Racing Wheel is no longer supported?

Forza 3 supports it, I expect Test Drive Unlimited 2 to support it, in fact the ONLY racing game I know that doesn’t support it is Blur. So what on earth are you on about?

It was also not all that expensive for a force feedback wheel, cheaper wheels just had vibration not force feedback. Its only today that the Logitech G25 is a sane price.

Sure I REALLY wish it had 900 degree steering so that Test Drive Unlimited could be played realistically (you have to crank up the sensitivity too high or you can’t corner) but it was a decent wheel for the price when it came out. My biggest complaint is that now the G25 is so cheap I really wish Microsoft would support that on Xbox as it makes me seriously consider switching to PC/PS3 for racing.

Thanks Major! Welcomed news and I look forward to hearing it.

And I love my Zune HD btw.

Really enjoyed the podcast. I walk the dog while I listen and people kept staring at me because I was laughing out loud. I can only agree that I also have the power to make new hardware get released. It just happened to me a few weeks ago when I bought a Livescribe Pulse (thanks for the info on it, Laura!) and a new one came out a week and a half later.

We will be getting Kinect. I do think it’s overpriced, but the hubster is not deterred. What I like about it is that it will be easier for the kiddos to play. Kid #1 is a whiz with the controller, but kid #2 just can’t seem to make it work for her. We’re looking for games that she can play (like sports-type games and Kinectimals). We have a Wii and she even finds that difficult to control adequately. I hope that Microsoft plays its cards right and really tries to bring in the casual gamers and the kids with software that speaks to their interests using Kinect as the input device. I hope the price doesn’t scare people away. We would love to see more titles using Kinect that have lower age ratings on them.

On Kinect, I have the same dress/skirt question. Are pants/shorts required to play? I can’t see how they wouldn’t be, but it never hurts to ask.

The intros were fun, but they were way too loud. I downloaded the podcast from the web. I use headphones to listen and it was physically painful.

  • Orionz Dream

Alex Atkin UK I didnt say it didnt work anymore I just said it wasnt supported by MS anymore. They dont make it. It is the least of my gripes. I bought it for one game and it still works with that game. Much like my Steel Battalion controller that can no longer go online with my gen one games. It was getting dead in there though so i guess thats no biggie. (I will state I have all 3 systems and think live is vastly superior than plus) Over all the 360 is a better offline system too with its media center extender added in to the mix.

  • TangyTangoJuice

Someone please tell me what the intro song is, please,
