    Thought I would let you know that the Virtual World place you were talking about here is The Airlock, at http://www.the-airlock.com

    They’re in Kirkland by Laughs Comedy Club in Totem Square. Missions are $5 ea or get cheaper the more you buy. Kelly aka Uglyman, the owner is awesome and has had a number of MS employee’s come in.

    I find Major Nelson’s podcast overall to be somewhat lacking in the honesty dept. I have been listening for the past year now. It seems as if Major and the crew are ALWAYS talking about how great Microsoft and XBOX 360 is. It appears as if Major and the crew are afraid to critique Microsoft and/or game/software developers for the XBOX 360. It’s as if EVERYTHING Microsoft and the developers do is totally amazing. Yeah, thats right. I’m calling you out on that one. I mean come on? Really? Just look at Kinect. Wow! Thanks for giving us a Wii with HD graphics, Microsoft. 5 Years late!!! *Sarcasm intended* (While Nintendo has moved on to much greater things. 3DS anyone?) Oh, and before anyone tries to flame me, no I am NOT a Sony or Nintendo fanboy. Infact, I despise both of those companies. I’m just disappointed with Microsoft and their kiss butt employees in general. The only good thing Microsoft has ever done is create Windows 7! Thank you for that much at least.😀

    Now I’m sorry for the rant, but I just can’t stand fake podcasts like this one. I’m just going to stick with KOXM Official XBOX Magazine Podcast (http://oxmpodcast.podbean.com) That podcast is real. Sorry, Major. You lost a subscriber.

    I dunno, these guys just seem to be big fans of the technology they service. They also like other video games and don’t have a problem saying good things of other game systems or being congratulatory. I’m glad they don’t devolve into long discussions about the Wii or PS3, ’cause that’s not the system I listen to the show to find out more about.

    I do wish they’d address perceived shortcomings more often but being enthusiastic is not necessarily fake or disingenuous. Sometimes they seem to be easily impressed, but this is not a review show, this is an awareness show.

    I actually saw the virtual stuff in Dallas not too long ago on Greenville Ave. Can’t wait to try out Kinect and play Reach next weekend when I go back to Dallas from college. Also guys, love the videos on YouTube. Y’all should do these shows more often when Major is gone.
