  1. Enjoying it also. Set your controls to realistic to have pure fun and compete with the Apache. Very accurate flight physics (I guess thanks to Boing?). Gotta buy it when it is released. Kinect it, Activision. Then Ill buy that spy-eye by MS 🙂

  2. Hey I wonder if you can “rain down destruction” on unarmed photo journalists and open fire on children in this game? Or is this not a U.S. Army sanctioned simulator?

  3. This game is so awesome on realistic mode! Just as difficult as the real thing, almost, but wow, been looking forward for this ever since it was first announced for consoles.

Incidentally however, being a game for such a niche market it may not sell terribly well on a home console. I sure as heck am going to pick it up, though. Just like IL2-Sturmovik; Birds of Prey, yes I recalled that name without reference :D, the controls are beautiful if intimidating for non die hard fans of simulation genres.

    Loved it!

  4. Erm, all of the links in the post give me 404 pages. A search on for ‘apache’ gives zero results. When will MS ever make into a working website? Or, better yet, make Xbox Live truly international so checking for availability of content isn’t neccesary anymore.

Sorry for breaking the complaint-free comment streak…

  5. @Adaptor: All links work for me in the UK, even though they are USA links, so sounds like the issue is at your end. 😉
Searching on for the game _IS_ broken though, as you only find it when you input the name as this: Apache-Air-Assault (with hiphens), rather than just Apache, or Apache: Air Assault, etc. :-]
