Dash Text: Spare Parts tells the story of courageous robots Mar-T and Chip, who find themselves dumped out with the rubbish on a strange planet. Working together in co-op mode (either local or online), the mechanical duo must find a way to repair an abandoned space ship and escape the planet before evil Lord Krung can dispatch his henchmen to destroy them. Searching the hostile environments for ship parts and currency, Mar-T and Chip will also collect upgradable action parts – such as Rocket Boots – to unlock new abilities that will aid them as they rescue other stranded robots, and battle countless enemies including the relentless Krofax troopers, hostile spider monkeys and even a Super Huge Mega Laser!   Can our heroes rescue their stranded robotic friends and unearth all of the spare parts they need to make their escape?

    Saw a video of it, looked really good, but the forcing of a co-op partner t some parts is a bit, sucky.

    it looks like a mini version of Ratchett and Clank. if it’s anywhere as good as those games then it could be a steal!

    I purchased this by accident. Now, I know it says no refunds, but it was a genuine mistake. I was wondering if there was any way at all of getting a refund? I haven’t downloaded it and I removed it from my queue. Is it possible to get it reversed and have my points back??

    I just want to trial it before laying down the points! Damn it… I don’t think there’s much hope!!😦

    @Haggard Demon:

    I accidently got the full version of Lucidity thinking I had the demo – wasnt until an achievement popped that I realised – but I kinda got lucky as I did enjoy it for the evening I played it…

    … it does suck to accidently purchase though, especially if you are saving your points

    @ haggard demon :
    Your first action should always be to call the Xbox hotline
    (they helped me in a similar situation)

    Does it really have forcing co-op in some parts?
    How does it even work?
    It is either co-op or not.
    But, if it does have forced co-op, this game is not for me in any way or form

    If this is anything like Metal Arms I’ll definitely have to give this a shot. That was one of the most underrated games of last gen.

    The plot seems a little similar to Space Station Silicon Valley on the N64. Now that is one game I would love to see remade for XBLA!

    I had the opposite, the helpdesk didn’t want to help me at all. I stayed friendly, yet a bored sounding helpdesk guy told me to send a complaint by snailmail to Redmond if I wanted to cancel a purchase. The worst part was that it was DLC for a game I didnt own. 800 points down the drain…

    xbox helldesk….I think they just pick their employees off the streets.

    I don’t get it. The player confirmed purchase, so no it can’t be reversed. No refunds will be given. I have never made this mistake, since I am always vigilant when using Marketplace.

    Refunds won’t be given simply because you could already have downloaded the content by the time they would take it off your account.

    They should offer a refund if it’s believable that you accidental purchased a game/DLC. The way the advertise some games on the dashboard makes it very easy to purchase a game by accident. Haven’t done that mistake myself though, but I know there have been a few that have got a refund, and some news story about a guy that blamed it on his dog that got his money back, so try reference them to the customer service and you may get lucky.

    There is no forced coop in order to complete the game. If you want to get all 200 achievement points however, you will need another player. It does have both online and local coop. It is actually a great little game. Nice to see a game released at the now almost-extinct 800 points.

    @A Place For Us:
    If your console is on-line, Microsoft can revoke licences (just see the DRM tool asn example)

    @Boe2:
    Sorry to hear that. So far I had 2 cases and both ended well for me. Stay friendly, but focussed on the helpline. Even if it looks like you accidently purchased something, there may have been an error in the dashboard or something else on Microsoft’s side.

    Haggard Demon, that’s a bit of tough luck! I tried to demo and wasn’t entertained by it at all so I deleted it as soon as I could. I hope you find some enjoyment in it if you’re stuck with it.
