Was hoping to see Pinball Hall Of Fame on Live Arcade – I’m beginning to think that it’s never going to see the light of day now 😦

That Halo 5 leak is interesting, I hope we hear some sort of confirmation soon!

Finally, Stacking! I liked Double’s first game and I’ll probably like this one to.

    Oh Krisxx, you’re so funny.

Good ol’ Tim….I love this man and his great Double Fine Studio!
Costume Quest was really a great game and Stacking is…OUTSTANDING! It’s worth every single MS Point. I really hope that it will sell well. It should have put into the House Party Thingy, but oh wellll… I really hope that everyone will give it a try.

It is a great little game, but I got it on the PS3 because it was included with my PS Plus subscription this month. Would be nice if games of this quality were offered to 360 Gold subscribers for free every once in a while!

Playstation Plus members get this for free. Gold XBox Live Subscribers have to pay $15 for it. What’s that all about?

Doh, it doesn’t take Einstein to figure out what that’s all about.

With Playstation Plus, I think you lose access to the free game next month and you will get to play another game for free. Its like an extended demo, since you can play online for free with Playstation, your fee pays for the extended demo.

Since when was Playstation Plus free? Oh right, it’s not. You pay for it. And when you cancel your subscription, your ‘free’ games get taken away. Nothing special about that.

@Estherphobia: No…you don’t lose access to it in a month. You get to keep it as long as your Plus membership is active.

@skooks: No one said Playstation Plus was free, but that was my point when I said why XBox Live GOLD subscribers don’t get it for free…because we also pay.

@Etherphoria – If a person is on PS+, and they download Stacking while it is free to them (which it should be for the next month or so), they can keep it all the way until their subscription expires. PS+ seems like a pretty good deal, though I haven’t signed up for it yet, I’m tempted to while this Stacking deal is available. But Doh Ray Egon or anyone insinuating that they’re getting this game for free is wrong.

Personaly…I would feel guilty if I would grab this gem for free. Even if i pay for some kind of a subscription.
This game deserves every goddanm MS Point so like Double Fine and Tim Schafer. And for me it feels really, really good to spent my cash a team that deserv it! If I had the choice to grab a free PSN version or a not-really-free copy from XBL I would like to pick the second one. 😉

cool thanks for clearing it up for me, my post started with I think and I was sending it from work where I can only access certain areas of the internet, it still seems to me paying a monthly fee and losing my game is different then paying for the game, its an extended rental fee at best. Still a cool idea and Id rather play things for free then pay for them, my gold membership has gotten me free games before though, and when my gold expires for whatever reason I still have access to them as full games.

@Doh Ray Egon: As much as I would love it if both Microsoft and Sony would forever subsidize Double Fine games for their subscribers, I think the economics and legality of it is a little more complicated than that.
    .
Then how long until the comments are bleating about subsidizing more developers? About 5 minutes.
    .
Double Fine gets my money right now. Please keep making games.

Oh wow, here we go again with the poor people crying about something costing money while it’s free else where.. AGAIN. Don’t you poor people get tired of crying so much about wanting free stuff? Just because the government hands billions of dollars to you people for the most useless reasons doesn’t mean every one else will. If you want it free then go to the ps3 and pay for the plus service to get the game “free” or just don’t get it at all. Simple. Damn poor people really are sickening.

It’s cute that you kids are saying you’d rather buy it to “support” Double Fine, but it’s pretty damn annoying that you’re arguing over PSN+, then again that’s what it was invented for, to be better than a Gold Subscription and judging by the majority of your cries it’s doing a damn good job at it. After all, receiving four games for free as long as you stay subscribed should be better value than paying £40 or $60 a year to play online.
