Dash Text: Fantastic Pets is the only video game that lets players create the pet of their dreams – real or fantastical! Selecting from four different animal species – dog, cat, lizard or horse – players can customize and create countless variations of pets to nurture, train and play with. For the first time ever players can join their pets on-screen and play together as if their pets were real, living creatures using augmented reality technology on the Microsoft Kinect. Players can use both voice and full-body commands to nurture, play, train and grow closer to his or her animal friend. Players compete in Talent Shows to level up their Pet Trainer to unlock new customization options, accessories and achievements!

Downloading the demo right now, maybe it’s a pet-slashing game, with fantastic killing moves… who knows… (didn’t read the description :P)

Cool. My kids will like this. Glad to see more games targeted to the family instead of just the adults. My son’s love the Kinect, and most of the games are kid friendly. There aren’t too many games in my regular collection for them to play, but there are a few.

Don’t blame Microsoft for the MK Demo (which is awesome). WB and Sony are in bed together, thought that was obvious. That is why they got the demo first. Ed Boon already said it was out of his hands.

If this is anything like Kinectimals, then it will be fun.

And the shovelware keeps on a-comin’!

With all the hype and chest pounding, I’m still waiting to see something on Kinect that lives up to it (ditto to be said for Sony’s Move). It’s outright hilarious that a Google or Bing search on Kinect finds more sites about people hacking it for other uses, or using it for art exhibits, rather than actual, oh.. you know.. GAMES.

But keep on trying to tap into the Wii’s marketshare while ignoring the obvious fact that Microsoft has been losing, or shuttering, prime exclusive developers for the last two years. I REALLY hope you have something up your sleeve for E3 this year. I’m not sure you’re going to be able to take another disaster like last year.
