Take no notice. This game is not by any stretch of the imagination horrible. It’s full of culture style and puzzle challenges. I will say it’s not one for the C.O.D. brains of today who follow the rest of the fish *double meaning intended*.

It’s @Cave which means it’s the awesome quality ‘skilled’ players are used to.

Self-important posturing, insisting that only pro gaming experts are able to appreciate the nuances and cultural value of a $5 game from a niche developer, assumption that anyone else is a CoD mouthbreather incapable of cognitive thought, and a comment in the article prior to this one indicating desire to pay money for an underage anime girl game.

It’s you. You are the fishbrain.

What about the game takes “skill”? You jump around at a turtle’s pace, with people cheering you on for some reason. The awesome quality because of a developer’s rep is the reason people go crazy for Grand Theft Horse. Cheers.

I agree. I actually tried it for some reason, I don’t think just because it isn’t Call of the Gears of Halo is a reason to get sprung about it. It is sort of a bad game that has tried to disguise itself as something else with using crappy graphics and controls. Just because it is cheaply made doesn’t mean it is artsy. Seems like an Indie Game. Anyone notice how it gets darker when the sun goes down?

As Professor Chaos said, it should be noted that the revenue that CAVE gets from this game up until June 30 is being donated to the Japan Earthquake Relief Effort. So it’s a good way to donate a few bucks, and the demo wasn’t bad at all. I’ll be picking it up tonight.

I love your stories about nothing, I try to memorize them in case there is a Gamer IQ Challenge on them.

This is a CAVE game, for those that don’t know, and Cave have basically never made a bad game. This isn’t a schmup, but it is a unique take on the platformer and has a wholly original and unique art style. Obviously it’s heavily influenced by Japanese culture (puppetry in this case), which adds hugely to the charm.

Plus the profits go to tsunami relief, making this the easiest 400 points I’ve ever spent.

I tried the demo, my problem is that it REALLY does not look great at 1080P, I’m not sure whats happening but its not scaling well at all, its really blurry and pixelated.
