      A friend of mine who writes for a UK site got a press release that has a release date of tomorrow for the Driver demo so I’m guessing it will be there tomorrow but he’s not sure.

    Cool to see You Don’t Know Jack coming to Games on Demand. Will hopefully shut up those that were complaining about it being a retail release, despite the fact that it was well worth the price they were asking for it.

    Also looking forward to the Driver Multiplayer demo. I’m on the fence after the single player demo. Liked many of the concepts but the handling had serious issues.

      Erratic, yes. Inconsistent, yes. But not non-existent. Usually when they allow us to vote on the Deal of the Week, it’s something that lots of people want (for example, the Mass Effect 2 “Arrival” DLC). Limbo was also half-off at some point this year (it was 33% off during the end-of-year sale, and I passed on it then… I bought it sometime between then and now at 50% off). Stacking and Costume Quest (both by DoubleFine) have both been on sale. Raskulls and ilomilo (from the Winter of Arcade) have both been on sale.

      So don’t blame Major Nelson for missing the *good* deals because you stopped following…

    Any news on when the original Mortal Kombat arcade game will come to Xbox live. Some news came out about the first three games in the series being released on arcade back in May, but nothing lately. Just wondering. Good demos this week, and looking forward to toy soldiers cold war, love the first one.

      Its coming ‘late summer’. So thats late august, or early september. Count on it for september release since ‘Summer of arcade’ promo will be bone.800 M$ points BTW.

    Not really feeling these XBLM offerings. Maybe its the depressed economy finally getting to me, but I haven’t spent any MSP’s since late last month (on the Capt. America Pinball table no less).

    I’ll get excited when a.) the MK characters/season pass go DOTW or, b.) some of the overpriced arcade games from the beginning of the year are DOTW’s.  I could care less about anything else honestly.

    Make me love XBL Gold again MS…

    DOTW has been beyond pathetic for several weeks. Repeat deal after repeat deal.   I’m sure you are aware of it but thought i’d tell you anyway.  Hopefully when summer of arcade ends, things will improve.

    I appreciate that you guys offer a Deal of the Week.  I really do.  But these “Deals of the Week” are extremely extremely poor.  There’s got to be more than 500 XBLA Arcade games, you really can’t find 1 or 2 to put on sale each week?

    Maybe the deals are cannibalizing initial sales of the games, so they’re not going to be offer good deals anymore…

    Black for 800 points? That is like twice the price I paid for it a few weeks ago😛

    Now Fable is a great game that is easily worth 800 points if this was The Lost Chapters version which it isn’t. Seriously everybody save a few bucks and get a better game by going out and grabbing Fable: The Lost Chapters on disc.

        Seriously? You’re calling this original? I had games that were almost exactly like this on the C64 FFS. It’s nothing but a lame wii-ware title at best – hell, it’s a £1 iphone/pad game. Do you really want to send the message that you’ll spend £100 on tech, and £10 per game on a simple five minute iphone game that’s been done on EVERY Warioware game going. The games industry has you pegged, sir.
