I’m curious to see how this compares to the handheld releases as far as the number of inputs.
I know it didn’t enhance my game-play, but I thought it was funny that the WP7 installation allows at least 4 fingers to slice independently.

my son was playing it and had both arms and both of the flapping edges of his pyjama trousers registering at the same time – i’d imagine it accepts 4 per person.

No, you’ll need a Kinect sensor to play the game, to enjoy it you’ll need an I.Q. below 70

Wow, talk about pure ignorance. So just because you don’t like this type of game suddenly someone would have to be stupid to like it? Where did you get your ego? It’s statements like that, that really show your stupidity.

I look forward to playing this when I get home.  I am happy with my Kinect purchase, love Child of Eden, Dance Central and Kinect Sports.  Can wait to play this, Ryse, Gunstringer and Dance Central 2 along with the core games with Kinect functionality.

Absolutely right, a troll because i share my opinion about a blog post.  Not everyone bemoans their Kinect purchase.  If your only contribution to this blog post is to call a person who likes their Kinect a troll or MS employee then you sir I believe are trolling.

Why would he be paid to say those things? Sure, someone could be paid to praise the Kinect and its games, but I don’t think anyone would waste their time in doing so. Plus, he wasn’t praising bad games, only good/decent games.

Little Kinect moment of triumph here. If I’m not mistaken this is the first Kinect XBLA game, right?

I believe so, I really feel that XBLA can be very profitable for Kinect and allow for some creative use of the sensor and keep games in the $10-$15 budget without being a $50 investment for gamers.

Problem is they’ll need to add a way to launch these games from the kinect hub:)

Hardest game I’ve played on Kinect, it’s fun until a bomb spoils everything, will avoid Classic mode for a while.

And some word about the fucking Kinect Labs fiasco? Or just keep silent and pretend that the crash bug doesn’t exist?
It’s been there for a couple of weeks now, without a fucking word from you people.

I agree…. Not one of these ppl seem to acknowledge the fact that kinect fun labs keeps freezing, having me to keep powering down my console and turn it back on again unnecessarily.

This is awesome!  I don’t consider myself a casual gamer at all, but this game is a lot of fun

The casual/hardcore gamer thing’s a stupid reference.  It’s an entirely wrong premise.

I don’t understand what’s *not* hardcore about this game.  It’s challenging, has competitive hooks and rewards focused intense gameplay skill.  It also takes time to learn said skill as it’s not a click-a-button game.

Downloaded the trial, and it didnt even take me the 3 trial games to figure out it sucks.   Just as unresponsive as any other kinect title.

    • Anonymous

It was pretty unresponsive for me until the game automatically recalibrated. After that it was great. Too bad I couldn’t play longer in the trial.

The game is defiantly not unresponsive, you’re doing it wrong?

This game is AWESOME on kinect.

And a sidenote: Ms definitely needs to have this control paradigm (the player shadow on screen touching it like a touchscreen) in the next dashboard update. Just add some gesture to activate the touching (as kinect sparkle does), and you can have a working touch screen working like a charm with kinect. Much better than that cursor with hovering… Please MAKE IT HAPPEN MS!

This is a great idea.  I love the quickness of the interface, compared to the slow speed of the Kinect Hub.

Finally a Kinect game that doesn’t require me to push my couch back through the kitchen wall, disintegrate my coffee table, and stand where my breakfast bar would be in order to play it!  Yay!

Ok, from what I’ve seen the game looks pretty fun, if I had a Kinect, I’d consider getting it. Problem is, and it’s probably already been highlighted to death (but since I’ve not had a look around the site and I don’t see it mentioned for this article I’ll say it anyway), this title is part of the Summer of Arcade: Summer Fun Pack, buy all 5 games and get a 6th free… seems a shame that you require a Kinect sensor to play this game and you need to purchase it to get the free game. Still… I guess it hasn’t hurt Kinect sales!
