And Asia still gets nothing. I hate it when a product evolves everywhere but here.

Will the existing U-Verse/Mediaroom setup eventually transition to the new system Comcast and Verizon are using, and more importantly, will it not cost $150 to use it.

I wish I could watch Televisa in the U.S…. in Mexico it’s already free so I don’t see the point of having Televisa in Mexico using the xbox, unless it does live tv and the xbox could be used as a dvr

So you worked something out with BBC, huh?

Awesome, now work a deal out with ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and Lovefilm (it’s like the British Netflix, all of these except Five are on “the opposition” already).

So how many of the UK TV channels will Ireland get? We get BBC and Channel 4 on basic terrestrial cable, so it would make sense that we should be able to access them on Xbox too…

Since we don’t get BBC iPlayer or streaming live BBC TV online in Ireland, I think we can forget about that. 4oD should be here though. If not, then someone screwed up big time.

I’d ask for RTÉ Player, but Irish TV sucks…

This sounds nice but I remember when you increased the price of Xbox Live because of the amount of additional services you added. Will this happen again because I don’t care about my Xbox being able to see any of the above…

Please please please tell me 4oD will be available in Ireland too. We have access to it online and on iOS, so I don’t see why not.

Also, I hope 4oD isn’t just catch up, and includes the whole back catalog like the website.

Will I need to have cable accounts with these people to use their stream or will they be included in my Xbox LIVE Gold? For example, I use Comcast for my Internet. Would I have to add cable television to my plan to use it with the Xbox?

My guess is yes.  In the case of HBO GO you have to have and HBO subscription and also a  cable company that supports HBO GO.

Maybe some of them won’t be as strict?
