I think many people don’t understand this.  This is not a replacement for cable it is a complement.  Over the top services are the future not the present.

this update fails if there isn’t Bravo, Manga, or SyFy. I was looking forward to getting Manga to finally be able to watch some anime on my xbox but i guess i will have to stick to the computer.

Portugal never had a decent xbox live service anyway. We never get anything at all. I think i didn’t see Portugal written in any of those apps. No Rewards program, no dashboard in Portuguse… Lost all my hope

Portugal doesn’t even have any of those. The only thing we have is Facebook and Twitter which suck.

*Sigh* Why can’t Microsoft just make everything available everywhere? The UK get’s like less than half of what the US gets, and pays the same price. It’s ridiculous. Everything in the UK involving Xbox is either the same price or MORE EXPENSIVE, and yet comes to us later (IF WE GET IT).

It’s a legality thing. It’s just how some laws are and Microsoft needs to find a way to get it to work legally and not break any laws.

Does Microsoft Entertainment has anything against XBOX360 in Portugal, showing an ultimate lack of respect for Portuguese customers, or is Microsoft Portugal too tied up to Portuguese Media lobbyists, in particular with MEO and Portugal Telecom so it does want to compete with them in the home entertainment arena?

For god sake, at least a dashboard in PORTUGUESE, NOT BRAZILIAN? You know, US English is not the same as UK English. We can’t even find some games like Battlefield 3 in the shelves. Walk 300 Kms to the “border”, go to Spain and we get the full experience.I can tell you this, proceed like this and in less then 10 years you will be deemed irrelevant, eaten alive by your “partnerships” in Portugal that change shirts in no time.Google is already kicking your butt in the mobile, Apple on tablets in Portugal. That is how things started with IBM. Mobile phone and Tablet’s are the new desktops of the world.I can talk like this because my money is worth the same has everyone else when its time for me to pay, but not when its time for MS to serve in Portugal. Its seams like you are Boycotting your own customers in Portugal. That is what it looks like!

You have a chance here with the XBOX360 to make a difference, don’t blew it!

Don’t you know by now that Microsoft only cares for profit, not for quality or their consumer?
Sure, every company cares for profit, but Microsoft ONLY cares for it.

I’ve a done a small video that illustrates some of Microsoft’s problems in Portugal regarding Xbox. It’s just the tip of the iceberg, and I don’t even mention a lot of other issues we’re having right here, but I hope you guys watch it so that we can build some kind of reaction for this awful situation.

The video is in portuguese, but I made english captions so that everyone could follow the message. Here: http://youtu.be/L4Dy5wH9j44?hd=1

WHY DOEST MSFT JUST UPDATE XBOX 360 with an UPDATE THAT  ALLOWS VIEWERS to WATCH SHOWS from DIFFRENT COUNTRIES. e.g. US VIEWERS CAN WATCH  4 on Demand (C4) and not limit it to UK. “ITS  a GLOBAL WORLD”
