    LA Noire’s GoD release next week should hopefully put to rest those theories that Games on Demand can’t do multi-disc games.

    The UK dashboard is taking forever to update. Deal of the week isn’t showing, nor is the Gears DLC. Nor is the YouTube app available to download yet, even though friends from other countries are on it. The UK division of Microsoft sure are lazy, but when it comes to taking our money they jump all over it.

      Youtube’s on my UK dash, used it recently too. Dunno what’s up your end, maybe it’s because I was in the preview.

        Yes, you having access to the YouTube app is because you were in the preview program. We’re still getting to test some of the video apps before they launch to the public. If you go to the Connect site, it has the details.

        The Raam Shadow DLC isn`t working, the game warn you that the content is available to the season pass owner, but you have to pay again to download…. hope they fix it today

    Now that’s a good DoTW! Already have Hard Corps (highly recommended), but will finally pick up RS!

    And will definitely get Joe Danger. Held off on that one on PSN. I’m thrilled to have the better version on XBLA.

    And Sonic CD just 400! That’s the cherry on the cake.

      That’s true, it was on the very first set of Xbox Live Black Friday deals a few years ago for 500. That set of deals was US-only, this blog’s comment section pretty much IGNITED with rage.

      It was pretty much the catalyst that led to the worldwide deals we see now.

      So, you can get it dirt-cheap on disc format along with lumines live and E4 and yet you want it to litter your hard drive ?

        1st of all, i didnt know that rez was on a physical compilation; 2nd of all, the PAL version is expensive on ebay; 3rd, rez is small in size, so it doesnt take up much hdd space anyway; 4th, all disc based compilations spin anyway inside the drive, even though you have installed them on the hdd. the noise is unbearable; 5th of all, i dont take your comments too seriously, because youre clearly hired by micro$oft to troll the forums and defend them. i know jobs are hard to come by, so not judging.

        And BTW there is no such thing as PAL version of Qbed (E4, Lumines and Rez) I got mine from canada and it works on my european console.

    I just checked on the letter from the guy about the new update. He talks about beacons and a couple of other things but fails to mention anything about YouTube! I have seen no info about it being available. So to those who don’t know about it, go to the video section and next to the big ad in the middle on the right of it there is a tab that says YouTube. You can then download the app from there. Just letting those know who can’t find it or didn’t know it was already up.

      Were you in the preview program? I don’t think the YouTube app is available to everyone yet. People in the preview program are getting access to some of the new video content early to test out the apps.

      For some, YouTube isn’t available in the UK. A friend of mine who wasn’t in the preview can’t access it yet, nor could a poster below whom has now changed his post.

      I wondered if that preview had something to do with it.

      Some of the Video content will be rolled out over time, iPlayer, 4OD and so on for the UK won’t be available till sometime in January I hear.
