        There are dozens of high quality XBLA games that are better than retail games. So there’s no excuse to release a poor game on XBLA.

    Got the trial and it’s one of the worst games I played. Even the cutscenes don’t animate properly… the controls are ridicules, the animations are woody and unrealistic, I got two game breaking bugs while in the first segments of the game.  Only positive thing I can say is that the sound is pretty decent.

    Played the trial and bought it seconds after the demo ended. All the negative reviews and comments from readers makes me love this game even more. Strong candidate for game of the year.

        I thought some of the reviews may have been overly harsh, too, but this is still a flawed game that may only really be enjoyed by zombie fans wanting something a little different.

    Baaad camera, Flickering everywhere, buddy controll, long learning curve.

    Terrible frame rate problems in EngineMovies and mainmenu.. i never see this buggy game before.
    Try the demo and u will see all of this bugs….
    BUT the game has Freaky Atmosphere, i love it, maybe i should buy the full version, need more test to deaal…
    2/10 coz the bugs are irritating

    The game play and visuals were fine for me the problem I had was when I had to use the DNA scanner to open the door in the DEMO? The controls didn’t work? Hit left on the D-Pad and I couldn’t select the scanner or the stuffed animal? Had to turn it off…haven’t gone back. It’s a shame too because I like the game. Reminds me of the classic Silent Hill games..not the newer ones.

    Amy is amazing game! I don’t understand what’s so bad about it? I played the trial and thought that for 800 microsoft points you can’t go wrong? The 5.1 sounds were great and the graphics are on par with many retail games. Controls? Didn’t find anything wrong there…I loved the atmosphere of the game and the STORY. I think most who hates this game don’t understand that this too is a storydriven game. Jurassic Park? Heavy Rain? Goes in the same category with those except that you actually control your character. I think the creators of this game tried to create more of an experience rather than a regular videogame. If the game is not your cup of tea, that’s fine but don’t bash someone if they DO like it. Please. Call it a guilty pleasure and go on with it. Thanks:)

    Underrated game, it isn’t perfect by no means, but you’ll get your money’s worth for $10.

        I see AMY being the example of what developers try not to do in the future.  Everything from gameplay to graphics are just plain bad. Even comparing it to some of the most awful games on XBLA AMY is still terrible.

        Your opinion doesn’t even make sense.  There is nothing visually significant about Amy in context of historic XBLA titles.  That’s not an opinion – that’s an industry-wide accepted fact.

    They really need to patch this game. It’s like you play some Alpha version. And what about checkpoints/save points? If you quit the game halfway through a level, next time you start from beginning. Did i mention how your items get reset after you die or reach the next level? And the screen tearing and framerate makes me want to kill myself. -_-
    Seriously, did these games get tested, before they get released on XBLA?

      I’m a game developer?? :O Woah. I didn’t know that. But hey thanks for telling me. I thought that I was unemployed right now and had nothing else to do except play Amy from start to finish. I said it once and I say it again, it’s not a perfect game but it’s not bad either! Some ppl like, some people don’t. No need to bash other people!

    Crappy frame rate, horrible tearing and stupid controls. Did the devs really think holding LB and mashing X just to run was a good idea? The reason for not only using the left stick is…? 
    I wanted this to be good, but I couldn’t stand more than a couple of minutes of it. And it was way to dark to see anything. And what’s up with the sudden changes in camera angles when hitting enemies. And… and… and so on!Sorry, but Amy is a huge failure.

    The orange banner indicates the game is an arcade game (sans Kinect).  The reason some arcade games have this and other don’t is that the banners are relatively new in terms of the Arcade’s lifespan.  Therefore, newer arcade games will have a banner, but older arcade games were not retroactively given a banner.
