I like how the DLC for Skyrim is one large chunk, instead of being nickeled and dimed to death via microtransactions.

I agree. Before Oblivion they released expansions. And I thought they were much better.

    1600? That’s a joke. What happened to 800MSP add-ons? Oh but Mass Effect 3 gets free DLC…

Isn’t this more like an expansion? It seems to be of fairly big size.

Invoking ME3 is just apples and oranges. Knights of the Nine began its life as a PS3 exclusive, and it cost 800 points *SIX* years ago. The PC expansion which bundled all separate Oblivion DLC was $20. So realistically nothing happened, except your $20 of today is worth less than in 2006. :p But consumers never care about inflation…

20 bucks is how MOST huge RPGs like Fallout and Skyrim’s DLC’s cost… this is not a simple add-on with 5 hours worth of missions or quests. Or even one with 10! This is actually bigger than a lot of games. Most games have 10-15 hours, this DLC has 20 hours i believe…

Pass until a price cut, that is crazy for an add on that is basically a guild questline from two sides. Whether I can get twenty hours or not, I just won’t pay that much to go back to a world I already spent 150 hours in.

It broke Skyrim for me…..I can’t play more than 15 minutes without it freezing and locking up my 360 completely….

I think I’ll wait for some reviews, as it’s a little too much to splash out with being guaranteed that it will be good enough.
Of course, I can’t wait until they make Fallout 4 using this engine.
