I consider Beneath the Ashes the best level in TRU, maybe the whole Crystal Dynamics trilogy (and there is one of th best Laras outfits as well). Laras Shadow is decent DLC – the level is not as good as Beneath the Ashes, but playing as the Doppelganger is fun and since it finishes the story of Beneath the Ashes, I would recommend both.
Not the best DotW, but if you enjoyed vanilla TRU, be sure to pick those.

With the next-gen consoles around the corner I’m thinking more and more about switching teams. Always been a die-hard MS and XBOX fan but paying for XBOX live seems pointless to me. I already bought the game, I shouldn’t have to pay you a monthly fee to play the multiplayer portion of it. Make Gold membership worth it.

And I better see all the XBLA, Games on demand and DLC I’ve purchased this generation carry over to the next gen.

Have to agree with a lot of the earlier comments. The “Deals” have been on a steady downward slide for some time now, to the point where I feel I’m wasting my time even checking for them here.
Things just seem even more ridiculous coming back here after the Steam Sale. You’d cry if it wasn’t so hilariously bad. I’ve let my Gold subscription lapse as a result; not even tempted to renew at this stage.

What the heck with those deal of week games. This is so pathetic. This is what I have been paying $4/month for? This is insult to gamers.

As long as they sell loads of Trials Evo and Minecraft (1200 and 1600 msp respectively) at the moment, why care ?

Just wait till that “fever” cool down… by that time an amount of customers might have either ceased to be gold subscribers or just quit checking for deals wich in the end, each option leads to lower number of purchases.

Can’t wait to see the moment where they’ll start to worry about the low number of sales ant the imposibility to raise that.

The fact that MS/Bethesda released DLC’s for Fallout3 instead of Fallout: New Vegas with a discount, says it all, really! I’m VERY disappointed with these “offers”. I’m considering pulling out my Xbox Controller PC receiver, and buy my games from Steam from now on……

i wonder what “Deal’s” will be after this… some lousy Kinect games or dlc or maybe some arcade games they have put to death with so many dotw’s -cough cough- Sonic.. seriously not renewing my gold if this doesn’t change.
