      Given most people thought that game was dead until recently, I wouldn’t necessarily expect it soon.

      Besides, unless it’s gotten a complete overhaul since PAX East 2011, I can tell you from experience that it’s not something worth looking forward to.

    I would probably pick up that Forza car pack, since I don’t have any of the packs from after the end of the season pass, but Kinect Central isn’t available outside the US, so I guess I’ll just have to keep my MS points.

        It’s listed as a separate game in the retail collection, with 1000 Gamerscore all to itself, so maybe Peace Walker will hit separately.

    BTW, Assassins Creed fans should be full of joy, and those wanting complete games too, as Dead block and crazy machines looked pretty fun back when I demoed them.

    Good selection this time. Don’t forget Shuggy has been permanently reduced to 400 msp too!

      Got the demo from Shuggy and liked it! I don’t know anything about the other available titles on sales but will look forward to try them.

      I knew that our Sales buddies would not let us keep another week without Red Dead on catalog… I barely can wait for another Borderlands promotion as well.. *cough* NOT *cough*

      At least we had different deals this time! Am I being too optimist about what is coming next?

        400 msp is a fairly decent pricetag, and those titles are 1st time discounted, not to say there’s variety (genres from puzzle, to racing, platform, etc. -if we take perma-reductions into account too-)

      Or we can stop being silly and having deals that only work inside the app when it would be better for everyone if said deals were just added to the selection on the dashboard and web marketplace.

      I don’t mind the app, what I mind is app-only deals that are otherwise unadvertised, even on here! Deals that I can’t grab if I’m away from my console, completely defeating the point of web marketplace.
      I’m quite clued-up on this kind of thing, but if I were to buy something and then find out buying it through the app would have been cheaper I would be LIVID! And anyone else here would be too.

      Not to mention the app is STILL glitched in such a way that you can buy something twice, with the app not recognising purchases you’ve made via the dashboard and the dashboard not recognising purchases you’ve made via the app.

        It’s not a glitch. It’s the way they do it when they have one piece of content with multiple prices, depending on where you purchase it. It’s technically two different listings for the same piece of content.

        It’s the same as how if you get a Season Pass for one of the games that uses it, you have to download the content through the game (so you can get it for free, because the game can recognize your season pass), and if you look at the content on the dashboard afterwards, it still shows that you don’t own it, so you could technically buy it twice.

        I agree that it’s something they really need to work on, but I’m guessing it’s likely something that won’t change until the next console, as they probably will need to completely overhaul the Marketplace system to properly recognize things like multiple price points for one piece of content.

        Of course, just not having multiple price points in this situation would be much preferred, for the reasons you mentioned, plus it would allow those of us outside the US who don’t have access to the Sales & Specials app to actually take advantage of these.

        See that’s a sound theory but it’s not quite right, because Chain Reaction _DOES_ notice when you already own something. Well, sometimes. If it feels like it.

        And to further debunk your theory, Chain Reaction picked up on individual Gears of War DLCs that I owned. Thing is, I own the Season Pass.

        And I’m in the UK so it’s not entirely a regional thing.

        I was under the impression that the Sales & Specials app was US only, so on that account, I was wrong, but it is fairly limited. I don’t have access to it here in Canada (same with Kinect central).

        As for the rest of my comment, I don’t know about Gears 3, never played it so it could be handled differently, but the other games I’ve purchased a Season Pass for, none of them show the individual DLC as purchased when I look those items up in the Marketplace, either on the console or on the web.

        I have no idea what ‘Chain Reaction’ is, so I’m not sure what you’re referring to there.

        If I was able to get SINE MORA discounted and now bomberman, I wouldn’t have enough points for Counter-Strike. And oddly, the more you have, the more you want so, I’d have purchased more points for CS:GO tomorrow.

        But those being app-only deals prevented me from using all my points. Sure, I’ll be taking about three games this week, but will still have remaining points and thus, not needing to buy more, wich indeed is the purpose of business… make us “waste points” no matter how so we hav to buy more.

        Will never understand restrictive sales policy of microsoft; limit deals to specific regions or games to gold subscribers only (the ones that are multiplayer only, that’s it)

        Well the gold-only sales is supposed to be an incentive to stay gold, an incentive which frankly hasn’t been up to scratch for a while (but you’re getting there, MS, you’re getting there), and to be honest paying members should get more. A bigger discount than silver members on everyone-sales would be nice too. Say, 60%+

        On everything else regarding “restricted sales”, you’re damn right.
        Example that comes to my mind is when Half-Minute Hero was only on sale in Japan because the “proper” deal was for something unavailable there (I think it was some Kinect tripe?). I saw a bit of hubbub here from people who would have bought it.

    Really great set of deals this week – I’ll definitely be giving TNT Racers a go! And I’ve already got a trial of Shuggy lined up now it has been permanently dropped in price.

    If anyone from Microsoft is reading: any chance of a Final Fantasy XIII-2 DLC DotW sometime soon? I want to buy the content, but it’s just so pricey that I haven’t bothered yet.

      Sonic Generations is cheap as chips now anyway, even if it was on Games on Demand it would cost far far too much. Wouldn’t mind SEGA releasing Sonic Colours in HD on Games on Demand for £14.99 though, that game looks gorgeous on Dolphin.

      My guess is that the Publisher has to OK it going into GoD first.

      The publisher has to weigh in on if it would be smart to sell it only through discs or if they want to go digital too (the different methods also means different cuts (ie maybe MS gets a cut on each game sold, while the publisher can sell in bulk to stores for $30/disc… and if the store can’t sell more copies, the publisher still was paid), so that might be why some games go on before others even though it is from the same publisher.

      Popular games might get a deal from MS in return for it coming to GoD early.

    last week : PSN got 107 items (Games, DLC, etc) on sales
    this week : PSN got : 84 items on sales.

    This is available to any PSN user, not only ‘gold members’.

    and everybody can play online for free too!!!

    I have been a Gold member for almost 7 years now…
    but it simply does not feel usefull anymore.
    Next generation, I think I will switch to sony as first console.

      I really do not understand this game on demand logic?!
      it is always for old games,
      and as soon as they hit the xbla marketplace,
      you can easily find that same game boxed incredibly cheaper!
      whats the use?
      if only it would come out (almost) at the same time as the boxed version, I could understand.
