Here is the official press release:

Experience Lara Croft’s First Adventure with the Xbox 360 TOMB RAIDERLimited Edition Wireless Controller

At the 2013 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas today, Microsoft, Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix unveiled the Xbox 360 TOMB RAIDERLimited Edition Wireless Controller – the perfect commemorative companion marking Lara Croft’s return to the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft.

Developed in collaboration with artists at Crystal Dynamics, the design of the controller features a two-layer color finish with laser etching to create a realistic and tactile worn appearance inspired by Lara’s iconic climbing axe and the tourniquets that result from the adventure in her intense origin story, as told in this latest title. The controller also features a customizable D-pad that switches from a “plus” design to a “disc” pattern for better control, and a wireless range of up to 30-feet that allows for more freedom in your home environment as you explore and play the game.

In addition, those who purchase the Xbox 360 TOMB RAIDER Limited Edition Wireless Controller will receive a download token for an Xbox 360 exclusive playable TOMB RAIDER character. The controller will be available timed to the launch of the game worldwide and is priced at $59.99 (U.S. ERP).

Available beginning March 5, 2013, built from the ground up for the Xbox 360 and featuring add-on content which will be available first on the platform, TOMB RAIDER explores the intense and gritty origin story of Lara Croft and her ascent from a frightened young woman to a hardened survivor. Armed only with raw instincts and the ability to push beyond the limits of human endurance, Lara must fight to unravel the dark history of a forgotten island to escape its relentless hold. In the all-new TOMB RAIDER a survivor is born.

Guardian of Light, the only one I completed 🙂

  • Liquid Swords

Tomb Raider Underworld, because that’s the only one I’ve ever played.

  • Icon

My heart belongs to Tomb Raider: Legend on Xbox 360. It was the first Tomb Raider I ever completed and a very underrated game! TWITTER: @OneLessIcon

  • Jesse Ball

The original on playstation. It was such a breath of fresh air for the gaming community. It really brought a strong female lead character to the front lines.

  • Samu Siltanen

Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation. I love the Egypt as an environment.

  • Lucía Auditore

Tomb Raider: Anniversary. Because it brought back some goooood memories.

  • Andrew Russell

Tomb Raider Legend, because of years of samey sequels and the awful Angel of Darkness, it was refreshing to see an exciting and new feeling Tomb Raider game.

  • vanfrano

The first Tomb Raider would be my favourite because of the new concept at the time, the atmosphere and all the memories it brings back.

  • Matthew Kowalski

Lara croft: tomb raider when you get through a dark tunnel only to come out to a beautiful area.. Uh oh! Is that a t-Rex?

  • PossessedMe

The original tomb raider. It had all the excitement of “Raiders of the lost ark”

  • ray salisbury

My favorite was tomb raider 1. after you beat the game you are at the mansion and the butler follows you all over the place. I never did figure out what to do in her basement. it seemed like a hidden room…?

  • Liam Fletcher

My favourite is Tomb Raider 3. It is the first one I got (I was about 6 at the time) and it was also the first game a played with my parents (sharing lives/levels). I also had so much fun in the mansion (when the butler chased you in his military gear, scary).

  • Chris Hall

Tomb raider II just because of the abuse I gave the butler in the mansion(locking him in the fridge, firing at him with the pistols that took me ages to figure out how to get!!! :-P) can still here him moaning now, and still picture him holding his little tea tray up to his head ahhh the memories. 😀

  • Jen Holly

Definitely Tomb Raider 2. Not only was it the first game that made me a Tomb Raider fan, it was the first game that I was better than my brother at, which cemented me as a gamer.

  • Peter

I liked Tomb Raider Underworld. The graphics were easy on the eyes and exploring the levels was fun. I did miss fighting dinosaurs though. @EpicElite9

  • Kevin Thomas

I never played any of the old Tomb Raider games, but I’m interested in jumping in on this reboot.

  • James Hubbard

For me, it will always be the original. The combination of action, adventure and puzzles made it just awesome! It something new and fun for its time.

  • CrazY1985

The original because it gave gaming a new dimension!

  • Edward Smith

    Tomb raider 2

Getting lost in the maze for hours and THE FARTING BUTLER

Put a cork in it Jeeves

  • Brett Haile

The original TR will always be my favorite. That unique feeling of isolation rarely returned in the sequels.

  • disqus_44giygdTUt

The original Tomb Raider, because it was so new and ‘unusual’ in a way in it’s genre. @teemuteemu

  • Shawn Banks

The very first Tomb Raider was and still is the best one I ever played!

  • Stephen McCan

Tomb Raider 1, it’s where it all started way back in the day, and the start of a great adventure

  • Avril Evil

    Underworld because it includes Mexico

  • Joshua ⚓ Girardin

I would have to say, my favorite Tomb Raider game is the classic Tomb Raider II.
This was the first game I played (on Playstation, and in the series) and from that moment on, I was in love.
Lara’s quippy personality and hardened adventurer attitude were inspiring and captivating.
The game itself was beautifully designed and extremely immersive.
Now, lets see if this TR can top that! ;p
