Here is the official press release:

Experience Lara Croft’s First Adventure with the Xbox 360 TOMB RAIDERLimited Edition Wireless Controller

At the 2013 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas today, Microsoft, Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix unveiled the Xbox 360 TOMB RAIDERLimited Edition Wireless Controller – the perfect commemorative companion marking Lara Croft’s return to the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft.

Developed in collaboration with artists at Crystal Dynamics, the design of the controller features a two-layer color finish with laser etching to create a realistic and tactile worn appearance inspired by Lara’s iconic climbing axe and the tourniquets that result from the adventure in her intense origin story, as told in this latest title. The controller also features a customizable D-pad that switches from a “plus” design to a “disc” pattern for better control, and a wireless range of up to 30-feet that allows for more freedom in your home environment as you explore and play the game.

In addition, those who purchase the Xbox 360 TOMB RAIDER Limited Edition Wireless Controller will receive a download token for an Xbox 360 exclusive playable TOMB RAIDER character. The controller will be available timed to the launch of the game worldwide and is priced at $59.99 (U.S. ERP).

Available beginning March 5, 2013, built from the ground up for the Xbox 360 and featuring add-on content which will be available first on the platform, TOMB RAIDER explores the intense and gritty origin story of Lara Croft and her ascent from a frightened young woman to a hardened survivor. Armed only with raw instincts and the ability to push beyond the limits of human endurance, Lara must fight to unravel the dark history of a forgotten island to escape its relentless hold. In the all-new TOMB RAIDER a survivor is born.

I’d say Tomb Raider Anniversary. It was a great game for my brother and I since we loved to take turns on each level.

  • Eric Urrutia

Tomb Raider 1. Only played demo but would love to play the new one!!!

  • Cogbert

The first one on psone is my fav. Nothing like the first time

  • Dario Leon Rincon

Lara Croft: Tomb Raider because it was one of the first 3D game i remember.

  • refresh_daemon

So far, Tomb Raider Anniversary. It’s like seeing an old friend with new eyes.

  • Joshua Seidler

I was honestly never into the Tomb Raider games that have previously come out, but over time, I’ve gotten a bit older and through the years have played through all of the Metal Gear Solid games and have become super interested in stealth based games! This new Tomb Raider looks like it will take the cake with not only graphics and gameplay, but the STYLE of the story! It just looks fantastic and I am looking forward to getting it the day it comes out!

  • Matthew Drummond

Guardian of Light because the co-op with friends was really fun.

  • Waltee

Tomb Raider II purely for locking the butler in the fridge. Need I say more?

  • freedom man

    Tomb Raider 1 …………
    dinosaurs 🙂 !!!!!!!!

  • Vic Villarreal

The original Tomb raider. It was a the first time experiencing that type of adventure and Lara was one of the first real video game heroines.

  • Kelly | LadyCroft3

My favorite has to be Tomb Raider 3 since I played that one most and even playing it now brings back some really good memories.

  • Troy Bowman

Has to be a toss-up between Underworld for the great gameplay and story, and the 3dfx version of Tomb Raider for the nostalgia of being my game I played with my Voodoo (Twitter: @yourfaceisthat)

  • Sander Cohen

I’d go with the original Tomb Raider. I don’t think anything so far has captured that same feeling of playing a Tomb Raider game for the very first time. Great memories!

  • Mursi

Tomb Rider II as the story was well constructed and for the first time you can fight tigers!

  • PTP Odin

Guardian of Light. Why? Because it’s on xbox, has co-op, and even though the style was the least like the other T.R.’s, it was the most fun. Kind of in a league of it’s own.

  • Rami Yousif

Guardian of Light! It brought Tomb Raider back into people’s radar and because of that we an awesome reboot to the franchise coming out.

  • MichaelPapas

Favorite Tomb Raider game has to be Tomb Raider 1/Anniversary. Both games are amazing, well put together with a thrilling story line and the feeling of isolation. Puzzles were no slacker either. They’re both amazing experiences, immersing yourself into Lara Croft and taking her to various countries to uncover ancient tombs. Character developmental was there.

The first game was revolutionary and the remake was an amazing homage to that game. Long live Tomb Raider and the legendary Miss Croft.

  • Aaron

I really enjoyed Underworld. One of the few games to get swimming working well!

  • Steve Siereveld

The Guardian of Light has to be my favorite, the fact that it had co-op was so much fun. But Tomb Raider II was the first game I ever played on a console, and got me hooked from the very first moment.

  • Rocket64

Played them all, loved original TR but Tomb Raider II brought Venice, Tibet, dual guns and the best ending ever. I need one of them controllers to keep me replaying the TR games forever!!

  • 98supra123456

The first Tomb Raider game is my favorite because it was challenging, full of action, and you got to travel to all sorts of different environments and although many of the new Tomb Raider games have these elements, this is the one that started it all. It set the definition of a Tomb Raider game.

  • Galactic Power

Tomb Raider 2!!! Tibet missions are the best!

  • Victor Cerda III

Gaurdian of light. It was the first game my girlfriend and I played together.

tomb raider underworld love the storyline

  • Bret Kelley

Has to be Tomb Raider Anniversary, the first outing in high def (for what it was back then!)
