      1. All I see is opinion, opinion, and opinion with several incorrect statements. You say ODST has the worst multiplayer in the series, yet it uses the Halo 3 online component complete with all maps and added Firefight. So by inference, you must think Halo 3 is the worst because it has the same multiplayer as ODST but fewer maps unless you shell out some bucks. And there is a custom map browser for Halo 4, the Waypoint version was put up this week.

    1. You realize that people can’t play games 24 hours a day, right? Some people also have lives outside of video games. The fact that Halo 4 is in the top 5 means that it is played more than 99.9% of all Xbox games.

I think Halo 4 is a great game and I never have trouble finding a match online.

      1. Halo 4 is a bad game. Bad maps, no ranking system, and a broken multiplayer not to mention the file share system is STILL not working. I’ve been playing since the first Halo and any other real Halo fan knows Halo has been in decline since Reach. The games are becoming noob friendly by taking away the skill gap and catering to the casuals. What’s the point if you lose every game you play up to your SR130? Here’s hoping for a Halo 2 Anniversary…

      2. Halo 4 is not by any means a bad or broken game. Ranking system is irrelevant and has no effect on the quality of the game. File share IS working now, though it should have been ready at launch. I am not saying there isn’t some further tweaking that needs to take place (like the DMR aim assist, it is ridiculous) but it is no where near the train wreck some of these so called “real Halo” fans are trying to make it out to be.

All you want is Halo 3.1 because you cannot adapt to new play concepts that add another layer of complexity to the game. If this game and Reach are so much worse than Halo 3, then why isn’t Halo 3 in the top 20 games played over Live? I rest my case.

      3. Yeah.. 70k online at a time does not mean that only 70k play. It means that a lot more people play to maintain that number.
But it’s popular to hate on popular things now and claim your hipster credentials by claiming that the older version was superior.
        Haters gonna hate.

      1. No.. You have to make sure that the entire internet knows how much you hate something! Otherwise what’s the internet for? right? right? aw =(

  1. Only real surprise on the list to me is seeing Family Game Night jump back into the top 20 XBLA games. Not sure why on earth people would buy those games now, especially given that they’ve turned online play off for them.

      1. Yeah, that game is meh…the movie was ok though.

Major Nelson, please convey this message to the Xbox team:

“PLEASE BUY THE DARKSIDERS IP (and Red Faction if possible)”.
