      1. I’ve always thought 400 MSP for one character was pretty excessive, but I guess enough people paid it for the Mortal Kombat characters, otherwise they wouldn’t be doing it again.

  1. Come on, a lot of this DoW are posted very often, I want Skullgirls on it now that it has finally been updated, By the way, why do you keep the Twisted Pixel Bundle for?, at 2400 MSP I think is more expensive now than the separate games.

  2. Looks like it’s finally time to pick up the tongue-in-cheek side-scrolling romp that is Matt Hazard: BB&B. Wasn’t it 1200msp originally?

    1. Matt Hazzard was released at 1200msp on 2010-01-05 and was discounted to 800msp on 2013-02-05. Now it’s 400 but it’s been so long since I beat EAT LEAD and BB&B’s quality is so dubiou I might even pass.

My urge for Mr. Hazzard’s adventures got cold. That’s what happens when you overprice a game and then you wait 3 years to “reduce” it to what it should have been on start :l

Hope you like it tho 🙂

      1. I’ll admit the game only got my attention when it released because I had not long finished Eat Lead – an enjoyable, amusing and underrated game (rather dated now though). Even then I could see that BB&B was no 1200msp point game though. You’re right, it should’ve been cheaper to start with. Launch at 800msp, 400msp after 18 months or so.

I’ll get it anyway, 400msp is down-the-back-of-the-sofa money. Worth a gamble I think.

  3. guys, I know that is not the right place to ask ’bout this, but comments on crash course 2 was closed, I also don’t want to initiate a war regarding this subject again…but, does anyone still having problems to play it?I think I re-downloaded the game ten times, but I still can’t play…any suggestions?I think I’m just giving up…

    1. If you mean it saying it can’t load, try again later? Or something like that, just keep pressing load or start I had to do it like 5 times and haven’t had a problem since.hope you get it figured out.

      1. I cleaned the cache and installed the update again, then I kept pressing A like 10 times and it worked. Thanks dude!!

  4. Darkstalkers going on sale so soon after release makes me wish I hadn’t bought it then. I figured it’d be much longer before a sale. (Meanwhile, I’m still waiting for Guilty Gear XX^R to drop.)

    1. I found Alan wake to buy GoD in the addons section.. 19.99 atm hope this helps.. when things go on sale they usually make a special page to short cut to so you wont have to go hunting for it

    1. with all that hardware just hope dev teams can get to grips with the console from the start unlike the PS3, IMO hardware isn’t everything if the developers struggle to develop on it. that is why most multiplatform games does better on xbox

    2. interesting…So we will be able to play games on PS4 with 60fps and on next Xbox with only 58fps, yeah this is a astonishing difference, especially once the human eye are barely able to differentiate something above 30fps…anyway, what you said remains to be seen…

      1. “the human eye are barely able to differentiate something above 30fps”

Not true. The human eye can easily tell the difference between 30 FPS and 60 FPS

    3. Well my post got deleted. Lets just say the new hardware leaks are much, much better that what sony said for the ps4. I have no worries. 12gb of ddr5 will be fine lol.

      1. no, the game is published by Microsoft Games Studios on the Xbox Live Arcade. Sega only published the version on the Dreamcast

  5. This is all false. The Infinity will only have 8GB of plain DDR3. Nice try though. Do you think I’m some sort of idiot? I took circiuit design courses in college.

    1. The PS2 is less powerful than the Xbox and outsold it anyway. The Xbox 360 is less powerful than the PS3 and outsold it anyway. Specs do not a console make.

      1. this is irrelevant as MS had to break into the console market with the xbox. that said, the xbox was better than the ps2, sales or not.. but ps3 has been killing the 360 the last 5 years.

      2. It’s not only not irrelevant, it proves my point. Specs don’t determine a console winner. Name value, game library, launch timing, marketing…

Your best example is the Wii, which was much less powerful than both “core” systems, but had astronomical sales.

      3. You are absolutely right.. Software sells consoles, not specs. Your examples of the PS2 beating the Xbox and the wii kicking both MS’s and Sony’s butt already prove your point. I concur sir!

      4. if you considered that Asia (especially Japan) and part of the Europe neglect Xbox 360, I think this console is doing a good job…

      5. Only in your fanboy world has PS3 been outdoing the 360 for the past 5 years. I’ll give you 2 years.. and even that’s being liberal. To this day I’m still not convinced of the POS3’s worldwide sales. How could a console that screams medicrity in every aspect of it’s service and abilities sell that much? Says alot about the PS user base if you ask me. VGChartz still hasn’t reflected squat. Either way you look at this curtis, the PS3 was the worst interation of the playstation brand conceived to date based on everything I’ve seen with it. Sure it’s got some good games that I got to play like Heavy Rain and Uncharted but it’s the box itself and the system software that I hate so much.

      6. well, at least regarding to games I think we will have to wait till E3 to clearly see what next xbox has to offer to us. I’m a little skeptical that tomorrow will be focused on games…

      7. I think you are probably right. It would be nice is they could cover the general basics of everything tomorrow but I think we all know that there will be a substantial amount of time devoted towards COD and the new EA IP as well as entertainment. Here is to hoping for the best I guess.
Lets keep those fingers crossed bud.

      8. same here E3 is going to decide which console i pre order.

even a simple thing like silver accounts can play online but without party chat would be enough for me. but will it happen.

      9. Apparently PS3 overtook the 360 early this year (in shipped units, not necessarily sold to consumers, although still probably behind in software sales), but both are still about 20 million behind the Wii. The Gamecube was apparently more powerful than any other console in it’s generation and fell 3 million short of the Xbox, with PS2 more than 3 times Xbox, Gamecube & Dreamcast combined (all according to Wiki & IGN).

    2. To be honest with you, specs are my least concern about the new consoles, I’m certain that IF there is going to be a difference between the specs of PS4 and Next Box it’ll be minimal…I’m more interest in the whole package that both systems will have to offer, not just if one are caple of 4.9Tf and the other 4.7Tf, btw I’m amazed how some developers pushed the current gen mediocre graphics hardware to produce gorgeous games like Skyrim, Halo 4, Tomb Raider, Uncharted 3, etc…

    1. they are on ps3, but they are usually over priced either way. like i remmeber the black ops 1 ultimate edition was $100. the problem is they (like the game on demand with xbox) use $60 as the price, then throw in the DLC, then discount it. even when the game new retail will be like $30. hopefully we see more and thank god for fallout/elder scrolls games haveing GOTY editions with dlc on disk.

    2. I wish that too. But like Curtis said, since their price for the base game is always jacked, then it throws off the value. The latest PS3 deal I’m envious of is Metal Gear Rising Ultimate for like $45 with every DLC. Now that’s a good deal right there.

I hope we see more GOTY with DLC on disc too. Getting a GOTY on sale with download codes is nice, but I prefer the disc so I don’t have to worry about hard drive space or having to track it down later to reinstall. Plus I can lend it to my friends

    1. I was hoping for something like that. I have over $120 worth of DLC to buy (excluding Arcade titles) and I thought that Microsoft would discount their published games this week too to start trying to bring back people that may have stopped playing their Xbox. I’ve been wanting to get the Rally Expansion for Forza Horizon, but it is way overpriced at $20.

      1. DLC is the biggest rip off in gaming atm I stopped supporting most of it. lets take forza for example (estimating greatly as i haven’t played forza for years

lets say the full game has 150 cars and it costs $60, why is a $15 DLC only have something like 10 cars? the full game at $60 had 150, so why for $15 (which is 1/4 a game) have less than 1/4 new content? this is the problem with dlc.
150/60 is 2.5 so every $1 spent 2.5 cars are added to the game, not to mention levels and game engine, so DLC should in reality be much cheaper than it is. in this example, $15 dlc should have at least new 37 cars to be worth it. now obviously, I don’t know what forza Dlcs give you but the basic principle should make sense .

lets use COD as an example, everyone has played cod right?

the game $60, has single player, multiplayer, zombies, and off the top of my head 15 maps for vs mode. they decide to release a map pack with 4 maps for $15 by that logic the game, if they removed single player and zombies should have shipped with 16 maps at the $60 price tag. do you see the discrepancy? a game launches with 15 maps a single player campaign and the zombie mode but then you turn around and sell 3-4 maps for 1/4 the game? $15 should be 4 maps 1/4 a full campaign and 1/4 the total number of zombie maps

developers probably make more money on DLC because they make less and people still buy it. why not make a 2/3 a game and sell the other 1/3 for $30 more? that is what developers are doing now. if a cod map pack was 10 maps for $10 or even 10 maps for $15, it wouldn’t be so bad, players have made their own maps in dozens of games on pc and some of the good ones are better than the game developer’s maps that they SELL.

the tl;dr DLC should have much more content than it include OR be significantly lower pricewise. I think the only dlc that has been a great price this gen has been Elder scrolls dlc. shivering isles was like oblivion all over again for less than the price of the game.

      2. I’ll likely be getting a PS4, since I’ve gotten very little value out of my original Xbox and ‘360 consoles. Like most everyone has said, paying for internet access to be greeted with ads and promotions is ridiculous and a rip-off!

I STOPPED playing my Xbox and CANCELLED my Live subscription when Microsoft and EA began using my money for political campaigns in California to promote same-sex “marriage.”

Microsoft and EA used the excuse that their interest was in simplifying their own tax burden, but it’s the responsibility of employees to report and file their own taxes anyway — so what do they care?

The court acknowledged as much and it really blew-up in EA’s face after they were audited and found to be skipping on their own taxes. Either way, corporations HAVE NO BUSINESS getting involved in political issues — ESPECIALLY those issues that are dictated by culture, heritage and natural science!

        PAX et BONUM!

      3. But you wouldn’t mind if they sponsored programs to promote hetero only marriage?Companies sponsor all sorts of lobby groups, the biggest being tobacco companies sponsoring tobacco lobbyists and gun manufacturers and sellers pumping billions into NRA and other gun lobby groups.

      4. “corporations HAVE NO BUSINESS getting involved in political issues”

Politics and big business have been one and the same since forever. Where have you been?!

    2. Xbox LIVE service is awesome but the deals and discounts are lackluster compared to PSN. I really want MS to convince me to not switch over to PS4. As time goes on, I’m not seeing anything that’s going to make me stay.

Hopefully, this will all change in less than 24 hours.

      1. I agree. I’ve been an Xbox fan from the beginning but Microsoft hasn’t wowed me in a long time. Hoping the reveal tomorrow will be good news for gamers.

      2. here is how I look at it. either it will be great, and gamers have a new console that is awesome.. it will be mediocre, and gamers will have to pick a console or go both.
or it will suck, and the choice of next console will be easy… it’s not really a losing situation unless the ps4 turns out to be bad somehow (which I doubt since so far it looks amazing)

      3. I got a Wii U on launch, so I will have a few years to decide whether to add a new Xbox or PS. By then, I will know what I will want more, and get it at a better price.
Last gen I got a Wii on launch and then a 360 when they had a big sale as PS was way more expensive and had poor 3rd party support and no exclusives I wanted.

      4. unless their show is 100% amazing i’m probably going to switch tbh. live shouldn’t cost money at this point it’s a hindrance to the console to say it costs money now, back on the original xbox and early years of 360 online was laggy almost everywhere but xbox, so paying wasn’t so bad, but now everywhere has free online and it’s good, on PC it’s usually best followed by xbox, but it’s not so much better that it is worth paying for it.
sales and stuff are mediocre 90% of the time and worst of all there are hardly any games worth mentioning other than the same old halo and gears. what happened to all the original xbox exclusives and early 360 titles? where is my chromehounds 2? kameo 2? conquers bad fur day 2? halo wars 2? banjo 3?

pretty much the only xbox exclusive to catch my eye other than the same tired stuff is state of decay and sadly it’s an arcade title and it doesn’t have online (it was meant to be co-op) MS really needs to step it up or I am out.

  6. Again, since it should be noted and i didn’t get a single response, where is The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing? I was looking forward to that game and i thought it was going to be released on the 22nd of May!

      1. Thanks for nothing, am i not allowed to ask a question i did not get the answer to yet? Obviously i didnt see the other people (i thought i was the only one who asked before) and the only guy that was able to give me a reasonable (and apparantly correct) answer was Micheal Burden (below) and for that i thanked him.

    1. Alan Wake’s American Nightmare is on sale, along with avatar props and such. It was never specified what would be on sale for the Alan Wake sale. Also, considering what day it is, I would say they deserve a little slack rather than acting self-entitled.

  7. For only 5 dollars, couldn’t pass on Alan Wake. Never played it, but I’ve heard pretty good things about it and you can’t beat that price.
