I will get Brothers for sure. Turtles looks…interesting. I love TMNT, so we’ll see how trial plays. The other two games hold no interest for me whatsoever. I won’t even bother with those trials. Oh man, but Brothers looks so good!!

Flashback was one of my favorite games back in the day to play, but I’ve never beat. You better believe that I’ll be purchasing it when it gets released!
I’ll need to play the trials for the other games before making a decision, though.

I wish these summer titles would also be playable on the Xbox One. I really don’t want to invest any more money in games for my 360 when the next-gen is around the corner and not compatible with current XBL games.:/

That being said, looks like a fun series of games.

You talk like if your Xbox 360 will explode as soon as the Xbox One release

      Like

      • http://upthetree.com/ FuntimeBen

No, my 360 wont explode, but it certainly won’t be plugged in or getting used after I drop $500 on a new Xbox One. I will probably keep my 360 in a closet for the next 5 years until I either move or stick it in storage. That’s the truth.

There is no need to do that, because Xbox One has HDMI in and out, and Major Nelson said that you can actually plug your Xbox 360 to the Xbox One and switch between the two immediately.

Also, because it is connected through the Xbox One, you will be able to get Xbox One´s notifications even if you switch to the Xbox 360. It works like the TV stuff, so no need to keep the 360 on the closet because I guess we are going to get games that we want to play only on 360, for example, GTA 5.

Good point. The biggest issue is not really tech, but space. I live in a small Manhattan apartment – I’m running out of roooooom!🙂

Always wanted to travel to New York, I´m dying to go on vacations. Hopefully next year! Can´t wait to visit Central Park with my girlfriend!

After the short offtopic, I guess you also have your point, space might be a problem for some people. Still a good feature that we can actually plug the 360 to the One.😉

Yeah, NYC is amazing. Even being born here it still surprises me daily. The only big draw back – space.🙂

SO instead of plugging in one console I have to have 2 plugged in?

and one with a kinect I wont use…mmm

        You don’t “have” to.

But the downside to that is why waste electric by using both systems power just so you can play your 360. Makes more sense to have them in their own connection.

      • Jorge Garza

Well, I think that people who can get a Xbox One and Xbox 360 won´t have money issues, specially because a Xbox use so little energy. Even if you don´t use your consoles, you would save just a few bucks per month.

I mean, whoever can get a 500$ bucks console can also pay their bills. If not, then they shouldn´t get a 500$ console in the first place.

A few bucks a month can be different depending on where you live for electric. My electric isn’t cheap they always raise the rates every year due to claiming the cost of operating and so forth. Doesn’t have to do with affording something or not. I just don’t see the point of wasting money by using two machines to play the one just doesn’t make sense.

Well, I get your point, but we are not sure yet how exactly is going to work. As I said in a previous post, maybe you can plug your 360 to the One, and whenever you want to play on 360, maybe you can still play without having to turn on the One using the low energy mode. In that case, you would have both consoles ready to use, but you wouldnt have to turn on both.

Which is an incredible waste of power

You don´t have to do that, it is not required.

What I’m implying is that using the HDMI in to use the 360, is simply a bad solution.

Since both need to be close to each other, and need to be turned on, why not just plug the 360 into the TV and change the HDMI channel

        Like

      • Jorge Garza

It is not a solution, it is a feature.

You can always plug your 360 and your XO separately if you want, using a different HDMI port if your TV has multiple HDMI ports, if not, you can always switch cables.

But, if you choose to plug your XO to the TV and then your 360 to the XO, you can play 360 while still getting Xbox Live party invites from your friends on the Xbox One, and still getting game invites to play XO´s games. And you can switch between the two inmediately.

However, we don´t know how exactly this is going to work in terms of energy, because maybe we are going to be able to use this feature with the XO´s low energy mode, maybe not. We will see.

Which again as most people are pointing out IT’S INCREDIBLY STUPID…..That isn’t even a feature, unless your a Micro$haft robot then I guess to you burning the power running 2 machines to either watch TV or play the 360 for NO ADDED BENEFIT is retarded…Aside from the fact it’s a MS console so having the bone next to the 360 will probably fry both from the heat they will both produce

        Like

      • Jorge Garza

Maybe I don´t want to switch cables. I know, that sounds lazy, but I´m not. The way I have my setup makes difficult to me to switch cables. What if I want to play GTA 5, only avaliable on previous generation consoles, while I´m waiting to my friend to go online on the XO to play some FIFA on the XO.

Or maybe some of my friends on the 360 won´t get XO on release date (or at all), I can still be on party chat with them while playing Ryse on the Xbox One.

¿No added benefit? It has benefits for me.

For me it is not stupid, if you don´t find it useful, well, as I said, it is not required.

Also, retarded is an awful word. You shouldn´t use that word because you don´t know how difficult life is to people with learning disabilities.

You would have to plug both separately since PS4 doesn’t have HDMI in, only out.

No BUT in true Micro$haft fashion they will drop most support for the 360 the minute the bone is released just like they did with the original xbox the minute the 360 was released
